I play this string, Outlast 18, in an Ezone 98 Tour at 52 lbs in the mains, 50 lbs in the crosses. It lasts better than any other soft poly out there (tension maintenance is an A+, resistance to notching is an A+, playability retention is an A), and the spin and control and power are absolutely sufficient. Mark is spot-on that this is similar to fresh PolyTour Pro or Alu Power, and although I think those strings are probably better for the first hour of hitting (which is the max that pros use a string), after that, Outlast retains playability whereas the others drop off. For us rec players who need a string with staying power, this is one of the best. Other rackets in which I've had success with it are the Technifibre TF40 16x19 315 and Tfight 315 and Radical Pro. If you want soft, somewhat lively, and durable, this is a must demo.

    Hi Mark
the tourna Stringmeter - I have the same - it needs to be placed in the center of the racquet strings crosspoint. It says so right on the meter. That's why you read a higher tension than the one you stringed at lol :)

@@MarkSansait I bought mine a couple of months ago. The instructions that came in the package says "It is important to take a number of readings from the sweet spot area of the string bed and use an average. On the meter itslef, (confirmed on mine and yours from the video) it says "place pins over string at centralized cross point". The back of the package cardboard says ""...Place the pins on the main strings in the center of the racquet string bed." Wow one little package and they say it 3 different ways lol. Anyway, all this makes sense because as we get closer to the frame, the crosses are shorter and will impose a higher force to "bend" the main strings we are measuring thus the higher tension you observed. We both know strings loose tension after stringing and playing so when you recorded that you must have told yourself wtf lol. They also mention the tool is calibrated for nylon - I haven't strung yet (coming soon with Hyper G soft 17 in my modified vcore SV98) since I got it, so curious to see how much off it will be with poly. But they do say it works to track how much tension we are loosing as it comes down.
Not sure you've customized your racquet but in case against an opponent your racquet wants to fly out of your hand you may need to this...the link to Racquet Tech below talks about how to do it, this guy is brilliant to exlpain why and how.

could you also test grapplesnake’s offering like the tour sniper and tour m8? so far i am really like the tour sniper on my denser patterned rackets like the tf40 305 and yonex vcore hd. def softer than tour bite and also a slightly unique sounds when hitting. good control and power. i think it’s a good string and would like to hear your thoughts. i haven’t tried/strung up grapplesnake’s tour m8 yet though.
