- @wednesday-band is a five-piece band out of Asheville. Frontwoman Karly Hartzman and band decided to do something a little different for their Window Music performance. Karly graced the stage solo, playing songs from their new album, Twin Plagues. Twin Plagues is an indie rock album that calls back to Karly’s childhood. The songs reflect on memories and absurdists interpretations of our youth.
This set is presented by @hopscotchmusicfestival1949 and @wuncmusic4318 and was filmed at Nash Hall.
Window Music is a webseries by Myriad where musicians perform in Downtown Raleigh. Window Music’s mission is to highlight Raleigh as a music hub. Karly and co are hands down one of the Best things to happen in recent indie rock: humble; honest; and lyrically and musically innovative as heck. Loving this band!
Cody's Only was so so good
She's definitely got this. I hope to hear more.
I fell in love with this band today. I'm a shoegaze fan
This is the first time I’ve seen her. Fantastic! I wonder if she tours at all?
i saw them live in knoxville a few weeks ago!
I’ve been waiting for something for years to grab my attention like this has
Same here, would you care to recommend something
Git it Karly!!
that fuzzy tone is A1
Love it. Could almost rename them Fuzzy Wednesday.
Just from screenshots and zooming in, it looks like a Supro Corsica amp and a ProCo Rat pedal of some variety. I agree, it’s a really cool kind of ragged fuzz sound that fits the style of music perfectly!
nice! anyone know what chords being played on fishpepsi? I think I see an A minor but thats it
hi
I watched the whole thing out of curiosity and it was............fkn awful. lol
