Can someone explaine me something. I'm not Amiracan so forgive me for me English. I'm from Hungary. (by the way)
At 1:26 the woman says: make sure concentraited source of oxigen are wll-away from the patients chest.
Every cardiac arrest also brings breathing to stop. But...we don't give oxigen and do the CPR (or shock the patient) in the same time. Correct? So what if the patient (i saw this in the ER series) gets oxigen from a nasal cannula and gets shock in the same time? then what....? Or did they removed nasal cannula every single time before they shock the patient?
Okay, i have to say that I only have 9 grade education, so I'm not in nurse school or something.... I am VERY just CURIOUS.

+11358jessie Delivering the shock takes only 2 seconds or so. During this time, if there is any oxygen source connected to the patient, your patient will be set on fire!! (Oxygen is flammable). You reconnect the oxygen immediately after the shock. I hope I answered your question.

Actually O2 is not flammable. but is an excellent accelerant.
