I was playing a snowboarding himbo a few months ago. After a radical day on the slopes he went to the bar for a drink. He met a group of super cool people and had a great night. Turns out they were all aliens and they soon started visiting his house at odd hours of the night to eat his food and watch his tv. My sim didn’t seem to grasp what was happening, even retaining his good mood when he was abducted. Long story short, they knocked him up and completely derailed his snowboarding career. Now he works a normal job, and his weird friends don’t come around anymore, but he does love his small purple toddler so it kind of worked out lol
That reminds me of my first accidental sim-alien pregnancy. It was in TS2, not TS4, but I think it’s fun, so I thought I would share. My sim’s wife was a family sim (I forget his asperiation), so when she rolled the want to have ten kids, I let her have it. I believe this was sometime after the tenth child was born and I was having a birthday party for someone. The family is huge, so I probably had twenty or thirty sims on the lot and I was so busy making sure the party went well, I lost track of what Devon Jr (the sim in question; his father was Devon Sr) was doing. All of a sudden I see an alien saucer show up and he’s being pulled away from the telescope I forgot I even bought. Three days after his return little Feodore was born and Felicia (Devon Jr’s wife) wanted another baby. Not sure if these were timed quite like that, but the family ended up with thirteen kids and one foster (I had one of the townie kids move in with them after all their kids were getting older). Considering his brother also had someone with the ten child want (I always lock it and let my sims get that want), and his sister’s family exists (only four in her family though), their parents have twenty-seven grandkids, twenty-eight if you count the foster townie girl who is adorable. Most, though not all, are older than Feodore, my first accidental alien.
Same. I have been trying to get Clement Frost pregnant forever in one file- he's been abducted like 10+ times and no pregnancy. Another one of my sims got abducted ONE TIME when I wasn't trying and came back pregnant right away.
I remember the first time I got a Sims 4 fella alien impregnated. It took several weeks of climbing the Science career, and eventually he had triplets he was not remotely prepared for. Neither was I. He spent a lot of time letting daycare raise them while he ran around the world collecting samples
For anyone wondering, you don't get a moodbuff immediately. The moodbuff shows up the same time it would for a female sim who doesn't take a pregnancy test.
I've noticed that it's easier to look at their hunger and bladder bars after than to look for a moodlet. If they're pregnant, they'll start getting hungry and need to pee all the time.

My first sims was a runway teenager who ended up getting pregnant (I had the drugs mod and she did things for money, I wanted to be as realistic as possible) and she had a son! She cleaned herself up after that, got a job and an apartment, and eventually she moved herself and her son into a real house. Then, when he was a teenager, he got taken by aliens. And because I still had teen pregnancies activated, he came back pregnant. With twins. Alien twins. I had dealt with sim aliens in the Sims 3, but never 4. I was shocked. Anyway I'm five gens in and I can't stop getting twins. My line has been either cursed or blessed.
I didn't knew that your sims could be abducted by aliens. One day my sims goes outside on his own to use the telescope. I am busy with my other sims and had no idea that the sound even meant I looked everywhere for him but I still didn't know what anything meant. Finally he shows back all dazed and feeling sick. I was ok. I am like wtf is my sims getting fat, he looks pregnant. He was just about to get married and he was running for political office. I couldn't believe it when he went into labor. He ended up keeping his daughter but he gave her to his brother to raise. You know to protect his political career. I mean he wasn't married and he also didn't want anyone to know what happened to him. I guess the men in that family were a good lay because they all kept getting abducted and ended up with a few more aliens in the famliy. I finally had to sell the damn telescope.
One of my Sims got abducted by aliens at least seven times and married my evil alien grilled cheese cult leader, who was not happy when his husband finally got pregnant by the other aliens.
The heir in my legacy challenge got abducted and knocked up by an alien just by fiddling with the telescope. He’s unemployed too, no science skill. He ended up with twins. I think because he was a twin. He was pregnant for like 6 days versus a normal female 3 days pregnancy. I was going out of my mind because his mood buff was “I ate something off” for like 4 days. Then he finally accepted he was alien pregnant.
I tried to do this and got SO frustrated I ended up giving up. I tried to recreate the Curious family. I had like 10 abductions and 0 pregnancies. I even did the save before and reloaded.
My male sim couldn't stop getting pregnant. Thought it would be cool to try out the first time, but afterwards the lights would keep popping up and he wouldn't stop investigating them, every time he would come back pregnant. After the 4th time I left to create a new family.
if it says a metorite is coming, you just need to bring your sim inside and it wont touch your sim. They give you that notification so that you have time for it. I am surprised you didnt use MCC to increase the chances of the abduction. I swear everyone else does, since it never happens haha
I remember when my sim got abducted lol. He had 5 kids, one a set of triplets. 4 boys, 1 girl. He was a doctor. It happened right before my sim moved out cause it was a legacy challenge. One day I looked at her family tree and then I saw that there were 3 alien boys in there. Another set of triplets. I was so confused omg
I was actually doing a legacy challenge, and my male sim was married to an astronaut. Mind you, I was not paying attention to him and was actually paying attention to the toddlers I had when I switched to him and saw the, “Probed” emote, where he says he didn’t know what those aliens did to him, and honestly, I was so freaking confused. THEN! I look at him again a few hours later, HE WAS FREAKING PREGNANT! I WAS SO CONFUSED! AND I WASN’T EVEN TRYING! 😭
I think you missed the buff when he first came back. There was an angry moodlet about something weird growing inside him before the tummy ache one appeared. Thanks for another creative video experiment!
I adore sims 2, but honestly, without a hacked telescope or some other mod to cheat your chances, it can take a _loooooong_ time in ts2 as well. It seems to be pretty universal across sims games that you will only get abducted/impregnated super quickly if and when you do NOT want to be abducted/impregnated. The sims 4 is lacking in a lot of areas, but it is nailing the classic sims structure of sensing what you want and refusing to give it to you.

I had a sim doing the scientist career, and she got abducted so often that it became quite annoying after a while. She'd be constantly exhausted because she would wake up every night and go outside to get abducted lol. Maybe it's just the scientist career though?
i had a sim in the teacher career accidentally get abducted, she was just on her computer one second and went outside to "investigate weird light" a second later. i have literally never had another sim be abducted in almost 2000 hours of gameplay because i don't use the telescope or observatory. i feel like it's completely random 😅
My mint Gen. Not so berry sim got abducted 3 times and got pregnant every single time!!! I had so many alien babies and she was married. Poor husband was so confused as to why he had so many blue and purple kids. I ended up having to get rid of that damn satellite
I remember just starting a rags to riches game with a male sim. Not even 24 hours sims time, he gets abducted then next 2 days was prego. I didn't even have anything but the sale table. No bed, bathroom stuff. It was a nightmare with a newborn.
I think the most surprising abduction I had was my teen sims mum died so she moved into her dads apartment, he goes outside and gets abducted??? (Not in science career owned no alien tech, didn’t own a telescope, and in my teens sims other household they didn’t own anything like that either) I have no idea why it happened but she got a new alien half sister 🤷♀️
Surprised this took so long because in my Mint generation of the not-so-berry challenge, my sim got pregnant with an alien baby randomly one night after being awoken from her sleep literally the night after her engagement....
Was so funny and unexpected the first time I had a Sim get abducted because I wasn't even trying. My Sim was living in the desert and they were in that Eco Lifestyle career because I wanted that smog vacuum thing to fix items from dumpster diving. All of a sudden he's just walking out of the house in the middle of a task and getting pulled up into the light. And one time in a family gameplay I was doing the mother walked out of the apartment building and got abducted. It's very weird when it's in San Myshuno because the beam of light is so tall to accommodate the entire building and they have so far to travel.
So, I tried to do this while I was playing on short lifespans. I got abducted no less than twelve times and had not yet gotten pregnant. I went to manage worlds to check on my other sims for about two minutes and when I came back he was just finished up getting abducted! And lo and behold, he was pregnant.
I remember one of my male sims getting abducted and impregnated in Sims 3. I was so annoyed as i was trying to do a perfect family legacy, and then had this random alien baby offshot from the family tree. I'm too much of a softie to ditch a baby though 😅
I did this at one point because I wanted an Alien baby but I thought my guy wasn't pregnant so I gave up and got a girl pregnant so let's just say I was very surprised when the girl had twins and my guy had Alien twins which I didn't try to trigger twins but it was hell so I gave up on them pretty quickly

Having a loaaaad of space rocks, especially the big ones increases the chances alot, being a scientist and interacting with aliens in the neighborhood. And im pretty sure the fertility trait also increases the chances of pregnancy and of course twins. Also having alot of the 'alien pets' also helps. My sim was getting abducted almost nightly with all the stuff he collected, i had to lengthen the pregnancy time with how many babys he was having.
Once i played a larger household (7) and my sim rdmly went outside in the middle of the night and got abducted (we didnt even had a telescope) and instantly get pregnant
My sim has been abducted six times. No problem getting him abducted but he never comes back pregnant! Also lol to the meteor. That's why I save every sim night, so I can just exit without saving if something bad happens and not lose much progress.
i played the not so berry challenge, and had to reload one time due to a glitch, but in the first run thru, i got abducted the first night and preg. i reloaded and avoided the abduction so i could get thru the challenge lol. if you try, it never happens, if you DONT want it, it happens right away lol
Man I used to get abducted all the time and I have no idea how. My sim would just hear noises and go outside in the middle of the night and get abducted. She was female though so she never got pregnant.
A meteorite coming for you isn't a 100% death rate: just go inside after the first warning, look at the moodlet, if gives you a timeframe to seek shelter. Also, quick search lists "Search for Truth on the Observatory", obviously this predates the normal sized telescope, but it's telling. We know that it should work on the observatory, we've no idea if that was something the dev team copied over to the telescope.
I remember doing a challenge where they all had to be a diffrent species- the dad was a human the wife was an alien- I wanted drama so I made them fight, a few seconds later the dad gets abducted-
This happens when you actually try. When you don't try, your sim goes to geek con, flies in a rocket, befriends an alien while in space through pop-ups, gets abducted the same night and comes back pregnant. I had that same sim enter the scientist career as part of a story of him wanting to get to the alien planet and confront the child's mother about what she did to him (not that you can really do that, but you know, we're all pretending here 🤣). He got abducted like seven more times and had four alien children in total before he got there. Makes you think about whether it was worth it for him 😂
It’s crazy bc the one time my sim got adducted and pregnant I wasn’t even trying!! They were just randomly looking out the scope and got adducted and probed and became pregnant with twins.😂
My first and only ever spontaneous alien abduction was when I first got werewolves. Within 5 minutes lou was pregnant. Ironically I didn't want aliens that time. So idk . The games a jerk sometimes.
I had a vampire sim who was married to an alien. He ended up getting abducted/impregnated twice in quite quick succession. Poor guy was just outside in the garden, minding his own business

Nah, I had several gazers get exhuasted as I was hoping for abduction. Ended using a cheat to make it happen. Never had a proper unprompted abduction.

I think it use to be a higher chance of getting abducted, but too many people complained so they lowered the chances but lowered it a little too much

Btw, you can run inside if a metor msg comes up, it saves your sims life.
The moodlet literally spells out, go inside or die.

Science career is really the best way. My science sim gets abducted every other night
Id be interested to see if the Fertile trait effects the equation same as it does with the try for a baby interaction.

Was so funny and unexpected the first time I had a Sim get abducted because I wasn't even trying. My Sim was living in the desert and they were in that Eco Lifestyle career because I wanted that smog vacuum thing to fix items from dumpster diving. All of a sudden he's just walking out of the house in the middle of a task and getting pulled up into the light. And one time in a family gameplay I was doing the mother walked out of the apartment building and got abducted. It's very weird when it's in San Myshuno because the beam of light is so tall to accommodate the entire building and they have so far to travel.

If you contact aliens during the day the aliens will come to chill at your house, if you do it at night they will abduct you

So, I tried to do this while I was playing on short lifespans. I got abducted no less than twelve times and had not yet gotten pregnant. I went to manage worlds to check on my other sims for about two minutes and when I came back he was just finished up getting abducted! And lo and behold, he was pregnant.

I remember one of my male sims getting abducted and impregnated in Sims 3. I was so annoyed as i was trying to do a perfect family legacy, and then had this random alien baby offshot from the family tree. I'm too much of a softie to ditch a baby though 😅
This is why I always use cheats. The Sims 4 makes it so infrequent when you’re actually trying
I did this at one point because I wanted an Alien baby but I thought my guy wasn't pregnant so I gave up and got a girl pregnant so let's just say I was very surprised when the girl had twins and my guy had Alien twins which I didn't try to trigger twins but it was hell so I gave up on them pretty quickly
When I started my game after downloading get to work I IMMEDIATLY got abducted & impregnated , it surprised me how long it took Brenan!

Having a loaaaad of space rocks, especially the big ones increases the chances alot, being a scientist and interacting with aliens in the neighborhood. And im pretty sure the fertility trait also increases the chances of pregnancy and of course twins. Also having alot of the 'alien pets' also helps. My sim was getting abducted almost nightly with all the stuff he collected, i had to lengthen the pregnancy time with how many babys he was having.
Once i played a larger household (7) and my sim rdmly went outside in the middle of the night and got abducted (we didnt even had a telescope) and instantly get pregnant

My sim has been abducted six times. No problem getting him abducted but he never comes back pregnant! Also lol to the meteor. That's why I save every sim night, so I can just exit without saving if something bad happens and not lose much progress.

i played the not so berry challenge, and had to reload one time due to a glitch, but in the first run thru, i got abducted the first night and preg. i reloaded and avoided the abduction so i could get thru the challenge lol. if you try, it never happens, if you DONT want it, it happens right away lol

Man I used to get abducted all the time and I have no idea how. My sim would just hear noises and go outside in the middle of the night and get abducted. She was female though so she never got pregnant.

A meteorite coming for you isn't a 100% death rate: just go inside after the first warning, look at the moodlet, if gives you a timeframe to seek shelter. Also, quick search lists "Search for Truth on the Observatory", obviously this predates the normal sized telescope, but it's telling. We know that it should work on the observatory, we've no idea if that was something the dev team copied over to the telescope.
A watched pot never boils. My male sim always get taken in the first week if I play as a scientist without trying.

I remember doing a challenge where they all had to be a diffrent species- the dad was a human the wife was an alien- I wanted drama so I made them fight, a few seconds later the dad gets abducted-

This happens when you actually try. When you don't try, your sim goes to geek con, flies in a rocket, befriends an alien while in space through pop-ups, gets abducted the same night and comes back pregnant. I had that same sim enter the scientist career as part of a story of him wanting to get to the alien planet and confront the child's mother about what she did to him (not that you can really do that, but you know, we're all pretending here 🤣). He got abducted like seven more times and had four alien children in total before he got there. Makes you think about whether it was worth it for him 😂

It’s crazy bc the one time my sim got adducted and pregnant I wasn’t even trying!! They were just randomly looking out the scope and got adducted and probed and became pregnant with twins.😂
If u talk to the 1st visit of aliens and make friendships with them, it happens alot faster. They come visit first to see what's up with you lol
My first and only ever spontaneous alien abduction was when I first got werewolves. Within 5 minutes lou was pregnant. Ironically I didn't want aliens that time. So idk . The games a jerk sometimes.

I only have had success with impregnating Sims when they’re doing the Science career, and even then it taken forever.
You get a special alien bassinet if u have no bassinet and give birth in a hospital u also get a special alien birth certificate
