Hey Julian, it was great to get together with you. My favorite part of the video was the b roll footage. Hhaha. I think I rambled a lot, but we did cover some good topics. Peace and love, TTT
Nice to interview you too! I think it was great, you shared a lot of information. Viewers who want to move to Thailand will appreciate all the information in the video
Great interview Julian, I have been subscribed to TTT's channel for a couple of months and have enjoyed watching the progress of his Open Mic Bar & Grill. Good luck with your own channel and will look fwd to view your new vids.
@@JULIANKGLASSER I totally agree and what I liked about the video was how you allowed TTT to flow. You have a relaxed and easy interviewing style, Julian. 👍🏽
I agree with everyone else. You're exchanged with Teacher Thomas was excellent. I have been to Thailand a lot and I have noticed that the best way and the cheapest way to live in Thailand is to live like a Thai. I have done the Pattaya thing a lot and gone through a lot of girls. It is far better to live out and then go in then it is to stay in the tourist sections.
I have a friend in Rayong. He opened a beer bar there and he does pretty well. He uses a holding company there for about $300 a year and registered as a Thai company.
Hi Julian, great to see your channel growing, you deserve the success. Geeez, that was a quick nine months since you met up with this Thomas dude in Rayong, his YT channel seems to be struggling, I wonder why?
@@JULIANKGLASSER Happy to do so, a lot of TH-camrs think they can get away with content alone but likeability plays a huge factor also and you have likeability as well as interesting and well-delivered content 👍 That's why your channel has grown twice as fast in half the time compared to that irritating dude in Phala.
Visa's are a big issue here. You can hire an agency to handle your visa. Not esp. cheap its about $500.00 but you must be careful to find a reputable company. not hard to do. Thai govt. IMHO makes it hard to live here full time. Not certain why. If you are law abiding etc.. That fellow knows his stuff. thanks.
Dude, I’m a new subscriber. My wife and I (she’s half Thai as well), are considering moving there at some point! I would love to contribute there, maybe open a small school teaching Metal guitar!
Good info for sure. A guide for your required income is take your rent and multiply that by 3. If your rent for 7000 Baht, You'd need around 21K to be comfortable.
Philippines was NOT colonised by Portugal, it was Spain. Yes, there is more poverty but it's not a dangerous country. Especailly when compared with some in South/central America or Africa. .
My aircon/electric bill in my 4 bedrooms with half rai and a pool was 13k baht. The rent was 40k. Not sure how you guys could live on 15k baht. Food and entertainment/expenses another 30k a month. Car rent was another 20k. I think you need 100k a month to live in Thailand.
@@JULIANKGLASSER Yeah, house was lacking insulation and I kept it cranked. Think next time I'll go luxury condo. Lived there 13 years think I'll come back next year but this time BKK or Chiang Mai, Condo. 45k range. Like your vids. Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much Julian I have a buy Your folks in Amazon is very interested ,I love Thailand too much as well,It is not too much Thai people living in San Francisco might be the other area should be The same in United States
Correction, the Philippines were colonized by the Spanish (not Portuguese) for around 350 years, then by the Americans after the Spanish war. It was captured by the Japanese shortly during WWII, then they got their independence.
His real name is Scott, when he was a teacher the Thai people couldn’t pronounce Scott but they could pronounce Thomas. So he became Thomas in Thailand. Great guy, will go to his bar grand opening later this month
Yes, but regulations can potentially provide a positive outcome where information and updated education are concerned. If you are familiar with biology and cross-contamination like the current Covid pandemic consider how health regulation could have prevented that. I respect freedom to express and grow, but there has to be at least a 'middle ground' that is beneficial for all in a community.
