I noticed that all New York rappers really just get really inspired by southern rappers and southern flow kinda like a migos flow...some of this is good music though 👍
what that song yeo " yall niggas heavy cap no cap no cap " DEADASS LOST IT and got stuck in head commenting at 3:22am cause all clues i thought i had lead me to here
NYC Ev I have no issues with music changing. As an older head, I think its dope the art keeps branching sonically. But the only gripe I have as that as an NY dude, I feel NY has no sound of its own these days. I guess you can count guys like Marciano, Ka, Griselda though. I feel Griselda esp really revolved ghe gritty sound into something new. If you listen to their album it has its roots in 90s NY sound but its totally different sonically. This is what i love to see. Like you mentioned though, T.I. i feel is a real OG for evolving the sound in ATL constantly. People can hate on future, but really when he came out there was nothing quite like it. I want NY to evolve its sound, not just do the same thing as everyone else. While this discussion is hot, BIG KRIT is massively underrated imo. He really takes hiphop to another level. Not all of us old heads hate lol. Some of us just straight ip enjoy music. If i am an “old head” about something though, is that as a rapper, I feel you should be able to really rhyme like your life depended on it. You don’t have to rap like Nas necessarily. Just super clever in your own way.
Why lil tjay not on here ? He from the Bronx of New York and he cold like wtf it’s like two niggas on here that’s ass so you could have put lil tjay on here period
@@jonogatis4735 Lol, Not even close but I AM a musician and audio engineer that actually knows music theory and am also a hip hop head. It literally takes no talent whatsoever to make trap music (which SHOULD be obvious to people with common sense) since SPECIAL ED students in Chicago, L.A, Texas and Florida get to upload their "trap music" on soundcloud as an afterschool program. If people with severe learning disabilities can make a specific music form, then it obviously doesn't take talent to create. You sound like a butthurt wannabe trap rapper that can't take hearing the truth.
