I feel like why Outer Wilds is just so incredible in VR is more than just the phenomenal mod by raicuparta, but the world itself is so unreal and mind boggling on its own merits. it really is just an amazing mod, it makes this game feel like it was always supposed to be exactly like this
What makes it funny is that the devs made a list of things in the game that wouldn't make it fit for VR (was only available for backers, so you can't find it easily), I think EotE added more to that hahah
I did my first playthrough in VR and I highly recommend it (if you've got your VR legs, there's obviously lots of stomach-churning moments). Very few 2D-to-VR mods feel like native VR experiences, and this is one of them... the sense of scale just takes this game to another level

You might enjoy a game called "Exanima." It is a very atmospheric dungeon-crawler based off physics combat, and it can be rather frightening at times. Would love to see your take on it.
Into the Radius is a really good postapcolyptic survival VR game but its also really scary. not your usual video type but I thought you might want to try it

I've noticed that the mod makes some things disorienting about the game, like when you entered the Nomai shuttle at the hourglass twins. At first I was thinking that kinda sucks. But then I realized, OF COURSE it's disorienting, gravity is changing at a moments notice. If that happened in real life, I'm confident it would feel very similar. God I love this mod, I wish I'd just played the game instead of watched someone play it. SOMEONE INVENT A MEMORY SCRUBBER ALREADY!
Just finished the game on ps5 and I would die to have it in VR - such a shame it's a game you play once as all the mystery goes away when you finish it.
I love how he's completed the game but doesn't know the ship has a built in camera so that you can snapshot the quantum moon without getting out of the pilot's seat 😂 There's also a button than you can hold down to look around the cockpit, it was down on the dpad with a controller, that also let's you use the eject button while sat down, I used that to get to the sun station without using the teleporter, difficult but fun.

If you're worried it will be difficult to use it's not it's pretty much all Automatic with the mod manager

There are story mods (for example: The Outsider, The Vision) with new places to go. I haven't played them but they seem cool.

When I tried the VR mod, I somehow found all of the gravity-shifting stuff less disorienting than it felt in regular mode.
