Thank you! The shop cat likes to sit up on the register when nobody is here, and typically puts it into the "Misoperation" error as she steps on the keys, which locks up everything until you hit clear. Apparently she has now learned to log the clerk out. I had to remove the receipt and journal feed keys, as she figured out she could feed receipt paper out to the floor by stepping on them, giving her something to play with.
