That’s literally everyone in rank. Happened to me so many times. Nobody plays rank matches on sf6 for fun or good sets, it’s all about grinding. You do custom room or battle hub if you want real sets and run backs and wanna improve. Ranked is solely for people who wanna just get master and increase their MR.

Lol, I got to Master with Zangief about 2 weeks before LTG got Master with Marissa. And I really started playing ranked in July... Dale had since the beginning of June to get Master. I was hoping to get my Ryu to Master before Dale got his first Master character just to prove a point, but oh well.

Started with JP, but dropped him when realized he took actual skill to play. After mindlessly playing for months he manages to hit Master with the most scrubby-easy mode character in the game and already flaunts like he won EVO. Same guy who puts the front of not caring for winning tournaments or FGC clout, desperate Dale.
Dale is definitely gonna milking this for all its worth like he did in Elite Smash. Expect him to only play in the hub or player lobbies, and make excuses for why he doesn't touch rank anymore.

LTG method of getting to master: Only rematch people whom you've beaten in the first match. If they beat you, immediately back out and block them.
A lot of poeple do that, maybe aside form the blocking part. But in high diamond, I've heard people won't rematch you if you beat them badly.

He didn't actually get Master rank he had people play for him off stream,he said and I quote " I only play games on stream" and in the same stream "I'm gonna have to rank up offline" so you ask yourself how are you going to rank up off stream if you only play when you stream.
He also blocks so many players that are better than him. He also used the same method to reach diamond in sf5.
Okay, so when will he reach with a low tier character instead of a higher mid tier one that’s also the easiest character to play? Also, people who are really good at fighting games, got to master weeks after release. With actual low tier characters too. Its also not that hard after a time if you block everyone that beats you.
That's what bothers me the most. He needs to change his damn name already. He's not good with low tier characters. He's not even that great with high tier characters.

And for perspective, DSP made master with Blanka and E Honda in less time.
DSP only got to Master with Blanka as of now. Then since he switched from Xbox to PS5 to smurf in ranked, both his Blanka and Honda started from Platinum and are currently hanging around Diamond 3 and 4 respectively.
