These people marry their children off when they are suckling . I don’t know where you live but situation poor cities is bad. Few years back, we were traveling from Jaipur to Agra. Road was going via Bharatpur.
We were appalled to see that teenage children were engaged in prostitution. Just for sake of curiosity when we tried to find the reason , it was told that .their parents are forcing them into this business. One guy at an Indian tourism restaurant mentioned that large number of young girls that are sold to Bombay based brothels or cat houses are from bharatpur. That is the major problem is Indian subcontinent.
