I've always thought it would be cool to ice fish this lake. Seen some nice lakers pulled out of there too in pics. Seems tough. Any idea how deep the lake is. I know I caught a nice 5 pound or so laker once in Cline River I believe in the fall fishing for mountain whitefish. Way way back. Such a beautiful spot to fish though.
There is some definite tanks in there. 30 inch is just scratching the surface. But man are they few and far between. People aren’t scratching the roofs of their shacks while fishing 😂😂
I have no idea. No vehicle access allowed on the lake. So we parked up top and hiked in 4-5k. Not much snow so you should be ok parking in a designated area
Definitely a clutch fish while filming. People put years on that lake and never catch a fish that size there. I was extremely lucky to get one my first time on the ice there. And only my second time on the lake!!!!
I love the clear water and it was a very beautiful fish. I know that the Lakers in Alberta here just don't grow as big. Good to see you a decent sized one. Keep up the good work. I've never met ya but I think I passed you boys in La Ronge once when I was headed up near wollaston for a fishing trip. Closest I've been to a celebrity fisherman lol.
I’m extremely happy with a near 30 inch my first time ice fishing it. Don’t see many big ones get caught at all on social media on this lake. Kyle Steven’s years ago. And Ryan brown has got some nice ones but he definitely puts in his time on that lake. Honestly one of the nicest views in alberta on the west end of that lake!!!!
Doesn’t get fished very much because it can be very slow fishing and the water levels changing, high winds which deters a lot of anglers but knowing I could have the chance at trophy laker bull or rainbow makes it very special place to fish. But those big lakers are in there I got pics
Great vid you guys! Scenery is just perfect at Abraham. Water almost glows under the ice. Thanks for sharing with us.
Love the color on that lake. Nice video
That’s awesome! You definitely put in the work to get that one! Early start plus a 4 km walk in. That’s dedication and what it takes to succeed.
One bite made the trip. But honestly I would if bin happy with any size laker in that scenery
Nice catch, man. Gorgeous looking fish
Right on guys! Love the yellow fins on that laker, such a clean fish
Awesome video Sean and BJ, definitely a great fish to see come out of that lake
The view at that place is totally worth it in itself!!
Nice Lake trout good catch. I put a 37" 25#8oz laker on the ice friday
Wow that lake looks cool. Epic fish on film. Very clutch. Some ppl fish their whole life to tell a story about a fish like that.
Nice fish👌
What an awesome lake to smash some fish!
Such an epic trip, that's for the good times 👍💪
Was a blast as always with you!!!
Awesome guys! I may have to head out that way..
It’s definitely worth it!!!!

@@fishinggeeks I'll have to try that technique
the touch the roof trick!
That hook set was all skill 😂😂😂
@@fishinggeeks🤣
I love that lake! It’s so beautiful!!
Honestly the number one reason I go there
We're spoiled to live where we do
Only takes one fish!!
I’m putting the touch the roof trick in the bank for a rainy day 😅🤣🤣
No kidding hey lol. The one time I’m goofing around and boom lol
So sick Sean, obviously I need to touch the roof of the tent from now on
What knit hat there did your buddy have? That a brook trout hat? lol I want one where did he get it?
It's a rainbow trout hat from The fishing hole 🤟
How's the access for rv this time of year. Love to go there next week during the daughters spring break.

@@fishinggeeks thanks. Was not planning on driving on the lake. Seems like there is lots of camping east end of the lake.
…… 🎉
Might be a decent fish for that lake but definatley not a giant.

I thought you guys posted a video like a decade back about ice fishing Abraham?

100% that is big for this lake
That’s actually a hammer fish for that lake!!
What do you mean a rocky is like a whitefish? It literally stands for rocky mtn whitefish. Guy doesn’t even know what he’s calling them 😂
Cause most people associate whitefish with lake whitefish so he's probably saying they're very similar but not the same as a lake whitefish
Definitely a nice fish but they get way way bigger then that my friend 25lbs plus get caught every winter outta there
