I've been wanting to learn how to make something with Google slides and how to upload it. This kind of video is so helpful to me. I'm from the era where we only had one computer class in high school. I don't have the foundation of knowledge to figure this kind of thing out on my own. Thank you so much for making this video and I can't wait to watch more of your videos so I can learn other digital skills. Another thing I wanted to learn is how to put links into a pdf. I am using Flatpack by Bearwood labs to flatten my resources, not Adobe. I have not created any Google slides products yet. I am wondering if when I flatten, would I add my links to the PDF after? I think this is how he says to do it. I honestly haven't added any links after flattening yet. I know I am supposed to for some of my credits, but just haven't tackled that quite yet. Hi Staci-bee, if you have Flatpack. You add the links in the powerpoint, click Flatpack, then click "do not flatten" on any links that you have and then "create the pdf". It will flatten anything that does not have the "do not click" feature.

Hi Ana, I can make a tutorial on moveable pieces for you. I usually start in powerpoint, export as jpegs and use them as background images in Google Slides. Then I will add the moveable pieces.

Yes, the text boxes stop. Buyers can re-upload and use the app DocHub to add text boxes. What most sellers do is share a copy of their Google Slides and "force copy".
Hi Ashley, I don't believe so. If you are getting sales from your current listing you can archive it so that your buyers can get any updates. If you de-activate it, TPT can and will refund buyers purchases.
Hi- Quick question- My Google Slides are blending slides and animated. They have no background. In this case would it just be a link to my Google Drive. I don’t see how I could keep it animated. Is that right?
You don't want to share your drive - only the specific resource( make sure you are giving buyers viewing privileges not editing). The animation should work.
Im back with another question 😅... I have one resource and i want to price it less than 0.95 cents... But tpt doesn't allow it whereas ive seen many other people charge 0.50 and even less... This is a very basic one sheet resource so i wanted to do it a bit less

You can do it both ways but you will upload to TpT 2 different places. If you are comfortable with TpT having access to your Google Drive, many upload using the Google Drive access. When I sell Google Slide products, I provide a link on a pdf.
I looked at your video preview on TpT for your product Addition to 20 - Finding the Unknown. I noticed you included a Student Answer Sheet. Do you do that with all of your digital resources as an alternative for teachers?
I've moved tons of Google slides files around when reorganizing my tpt listed files. I haven't had anyone get a refund though. Are you sure that they get a refund if you move a file? I thought it was just if you delete it from your drive but now I'm curious 😀
Hi Heidi, it's okay to move GS around, providing the link stays intact. There have been sellers who manage to break their links and it irritates buyers.
Another question :D When i take print screens and crop them for the thumbnails they are very blurry... How can i make them clear so teachers can clearly preview?
Hi Sparkle, a couple things - are you saving as pngs or jpegs? Also, what is the size? You can make them too small that they are blurry. If they are just "a little" blurry, blame TPT. They purposely blur images to stop people from copying your images.

I've taken notes and tried to follow your advice. Help me to understand why my link doesn't prompt me to select make a copy. Instead it opens directly. Another thing I'm confused about is the order of all of this: I think I start in powerpoint, then export as JPEG to upload each slide as a background image. Does this, in itself, flatten the clipart, or do I still need to open the file in adobe and flatten in there? If I click on protect and use a password to protect my file, does the flattening and password protection to secure the file remove my hyperlinks to my clipart credits? Thank you.
Hi Nina, yes, making the powerpoint slides to jpegs flattens the images. If you have hyperlinks to the images and you convert them to jpgs, you will lose the links. When you are copying the link in Google to share with your buyers, are you changing anything about it? Feel free to email me and we can continue this conversion, if you want.

Many of the school district do not necessarily trust where "private" information is stored. Being in Canada, there is a problem with student information being stored in the United States.

Yes, you can share your drive with TPT. I choose to create a pdf as I'm not comfortable sharing my drives.

Upload to TPT on mobile (TPT App) No. It's just for looking at resources, checking your dashboard, reviews, etc.

Hi Sparkle, export your word document as a jpg or png before uploading to Google Slides. That will prevent any editing. Hope that helps.
