    “The Glue” is probably Threadlocker. It’s a common practice to ensure the screws won’t work themselves out over time especially when equipment like this is moved around all the time. It would be recommended to clean off the old Threadlocker and put a dab of some new Threadlocker before you reassemble. It can be found at most hardware & automotive stores. Possibly even Walmart. Threadlocker blue is the common one. 👍 Thanks for the video bro. I still need to order mine. 😢

    Do you have issues with the start button lagging when pressing it? When I click mine it doesn’t start the song in sync with serato right on time, there’s a slight delay.

    Looks nice, thinking of copping a premium module later on unless i can find a innofader for tha low or sumn. Anybody know if theres a big diffrence? I like the premium one cause it looks nice too imo

    can you please provide the link ? Is there anything we can do with contour? Because when mixing I feel like the song from either deck comes in a little to hot. Great video thank you.

    Say my brother , is the belt drive platter really an issue like people claiming on TH-cam because im having a hard time deciding on the t7, ddj rev 5, and possibly the rane one 👍🏽please give me your opinion on this matter. I grew up on turntables and im 51 years old and at this age even though I know how to scratch im more concerned about moving the crowd with "MIXING "👍🏽

    • @jhirn2957
      @jhirn2957 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I just got this thing and love it. Also grew up on 12s which need some maintenance and a new mixer. Copped this for $599 open box and it’s so much min to just click on and cut. If nobody told me I’d have no idea it was belt drive and I had DD50s in 1991 so I know the diff. Love the form factor as well because the Rane or 12s would take up too much room.
      I tried a REV 1 before this and couldn’t live with spinning platter feedback. Go ahead order you one and return it if you don’t like it.

    • @ignoranceisnotatrend4669
      @ignoranceisnotatrend4669 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jhirn2957 so you prefer the spinning platters over jog wheels? Why you didn't wait and go for the rane one controller? And are the jog wheels really hard to get use to?

    • @ItsDJGSmoove
      @ItsDJGSmoove  ปีที่แล้ว

      As a DJ, who learned on turntables, I can honestly say I prefer moving platters. To be honest with you I haven’t noticed the belt drive being an issue. It’s pretty smooth to me with no delays.
      If you are looking for something inexpensive, that gives you the comfortability with moving platters, this is definitely the controller for you.
      In my opinion, I do not like the rane one because of the crossfader. It’s way too tight. If money isn’t an issue, I would go with the Rev 7

    Hey frat - I am new to all of this. Is this a good controller to learn and grow, or should I look at a 4 channel like the NS4FX. I want to learn how to scrtach but I need to learn the basics first ya feel me. Also, any tips for someone just trying to learn the basics will help alot. Thanks MAB!

      I got the Slipmats on glowtronics website.

      @@ItsDJGSmoove somehow the timing when backspinnin or tryin to beat juggle moves my marker off vs doing it on the rane 1 I have. Much smoother. And I’m tryin to figure out how to get the volume faders to adjust contour any tips how ?

    • @atypical_blk_guy
      @atypical_blk_guy 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@iamdjmazeits because there's not enough torque to handle backspinning for beat juggling. I notice when I try to juggle, I end up stopping the platter and feeling the belt move backwards . That's probably why you're drifting. Direct drive will always be better.

    Dude that said he created this thing said the guy who did the original review didn't recalibrate that thing and that's why he didn't like cross faders. Guy who made them said it doesn't need an upgrade by design it's only built to be upgraded when you break the damn thing so don't waste your money for something you shouldn't even need till it breaks you still need to recalibrate it if you do spend the money on that

    Just scooped this T7 on sale today and I’m feeling those fader upgrades. Speaking of which, that clear cap you’re cutting with. Is it included or is it color cap/ chroma cap brand? I don’t see any info on which aftermarket caps fit the t7 or the innofader minis. Alot of folks buying this unit are gonna love this video!

    • @djbeazy

      Rev 7 could be better. But when you have a favorite and a go to controller for all purposes that is a major factor.

    • @donaldccannon1
      @donaldccannon1 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@djbeazy hey I get it. It all comes down to each preferences. But that t7 you can feel the difference between the two as for a beginner this is perfect to start with but as soon as you move on up you will see the imperfections real fast with it is it more mobile than the rev 7 yes. Is it better to have a motorized than static jog. Yes at least for me I will re watch the video maybe I mis understood what the author said if I did I will correct myself and apologize

      Comparing the t7 to the Rane one or Rev 7 is like comparing a base model civic to the civic type r. Completely different machines.
