Hiking the Lavender trail - Tungkillo to Mt. Beevor

Hiking a 21km section of The Lavender Federation Trail in the Eastern Mount Lofty Ranges.
Starting at the trail sign just off Mannum Road in Tungkillo, we head south along backroads and grazing land towards Rockleigh and Harrogate taking in parts of the Bakers Creek and Reedy Creek catchments before gaining some elevation again up to the summit of Mt. Beevor.
This Hike took me just under 5 hours to complete the 21km point to point, then another 45minutes to backtrack and head down the spur trail to Diggers Rest just outside of Harrogate where I left my vehicle.

I live near Mount beevor. It’s a nice spot especially in winter when it’s green.
