The announcer on this aircheck Beau Matthews had a great voice. I wonder if he ever made it to the big time? Thanks for sharing this blast from the past.
1976 The bicentennial year I had been married two years, and the good rock was starting to disappear. Soon disco would take over the air waves, and I would turn the radio off, and return to my collection of 60's, and early 70's rock albums.
Wow! I remember calling in to WAYS to request songs to record on my tape player when I was a kid in the 70's. GREAT memories. But, did he really say "boogie people" at 1:40? LOL, uggg. Thanks for posting!
I have a time machine and I’m ready to travel back to 1976 if anybody’s interested in going. Thanks for the memories.

Featuring Beau Matthews, Scott Slade, Chuckie "Boo Boo" Baron, and John Hook.
The D.J. between 3:08 and 5:08 is one of those 70's screamers. I could only make out about every 5th word, incredible.
