At least some sort of purchase history.. & Lots of visits to the AD.. Have to build a relationship with your salesperson. Don't go into it with the intent of buying a hard to get sports model right off the bat, every single watch guy wants a stainless sub/gmt at retail. Make yourself stand out so when a sought after model comes in, they think of you. (I wore my Rolex Day-Date the day I visited this AD... May have helped me a little bit.)
Explorer was also my first Rolex. Own it for two years now. The Explorer and Sub are my go to watches. However, a GMT Master II is on my radar. P.s. I put a red rubber watch band on my Explorer. Looks awesome and enhances the beauty of the Explorer nicely. Finally, Your Pepsi is amazing.
Congrats Vinny and terrific collection you've built up in under a year, looking forward to the collection video! Were there all from the same AD in Bay Area? Not to question your advices, but lots of us in big cities make AD visits/relationships and have some purchase history but still dont get these offered. Do you think your profession or youtube channel helped also?
Love it. I must admit I prefer the oyster over the jubilee on a GMT. Anyway congrats Vinny. PS looking forward to the Explorer year of ownership vid. Awesome piece...
Congratulations on a nice piece! I have a similar story as to where I have put my name on a waiting list for a panda stainless steel Daytona, I bought several diamond jewelry pieces for my wife from this A.D. in hopes of getting the panda. Long story short she called me Monday asking if I would be interested in buying a 116508 gold Daytona with white face. I ended up going to look at it and as soon as I put it on my wrist I fell in love and made the purchase! I’m still hoping they will call me if that panda ever comes in but I am more than happy spending the money I did on the gold one because it’s a stunner! Anyways I felt the need to share because your story is so similar to mine where are your new watch in good health and congratulations!
No way the white gold? They are no where near the same price. The rose gold is only about 18 grand on the grey market. The white gold is in the thirties. You don’t know what you’re talking about
@@vinnysingh7485 I’m hoping to be offered a steel Pepsi from my AD eventually - I’m cautiously optimistic as it’s the same AD that supplied me with the ‘Hulk’ earlier this year as my 1st purchase from them and they assure me I’m on the ‘list’🤞
Congrats! Funny that you mentioned how ADs are now opening Rolex boutiques. The opening for my local one has been pushed out until February. I’ve been waiting patiently for a stainless Pepsi so hopefully I get a call once they open. I’ve heard they get a big shipment for a grand opening so we’ll sew.
@@sgt0331able I love the way it looks. I have a small wrist. I have a tt sub with the maxi case and I don’t think it’s big on me but I wouldn’t want any larger though. Is the bezel on that ceramic or what is it? I love the fact it’s Mat black
@@sgt0331able oh ok! I got you. For some reason I had it in my head you had the one on the oyster flex bracelet with the mat bezel. My friend got the gmt rootbeer and I tell you the rose gold Rolex has is the nicest rose gold in my opinion. I normally don’t like rose gold but Rolex rose gold looks so nice. Not as pink as other rose gold. Congratulations on your watch🎁
Hi, I just got the 216570 Polar Explorer 42mm from my AD, and then they agreed to pre-order this White Gold Pepsi GMT for me, with a deposit. I can't wait for it to arrive! but it's going to take a few months. I love how it doesn't draw unwanted attention like yellow gold, but you still know you're wearing gold. How does the color of the white gold compare to the 904L steel on the Explorer and Explorer II? How can you tell the difference from steel (besides the weight)? How do the bezel colors compare to the steel ceramic Pepsi?
Nice one Vinny, fantastic piece. I love the dial in this one vs the all steel. You are allowing the rest of us to live the dream through your videos, amazing collection 🤜🤛 would be great to hear if you are thinking about an AP Royal Oak, I like 38mm chronograph in silver/grey.
I guessed right! Knew it was it Bc you said it wasn’t the traditional “Pepsi” that one is stunning. Under the radar, most will think it’s stainless steel. As the saying goes “if you know you know” 😉. Enjoy in great health my friend.
You acquired quite a few watches in a short period of time... building a TH-cam channel takes that kind of effort. Are you keeping or flipping them? Do a state of the collection next.
Great pick up! Being a pleasure person and a decent human being sometimes works out doesn’t it! Congratulations on the watch Vinny! Another great video! Cheers, Jock
Holy sh#$ is that nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations. While I wish they made that version in stainless steel (more affordable) that piece, in my opinion, is the Rolex version of a silent killer. If you know what you are looking it is magnificent, a sight to behold and be jealous of, if you don’t its just another nice looking watch. The perfect under the radar masterpiece. You are a luck man Vinny.
Rob, you hit the nail on the head!!! I have been favoring this piece over all my other watches for that exact reason. Very under the radar, most people dont bat an eye... But if you know what you're looking at, its special!

I'm not sure how I stumbled upon your channel, but your videos seem well done. I don't understand the explosive obsession with overpriced watches that a lot of guys have, however. I'd rather have utility over luxury. I'll buy a G-shock or Apple watch over a pretentious and otherwise useless Rolex. What the hell does one do with $10k+ watch? Do you ever sense that women look at your watch and wonder if you bought it to compensate for your small penis?
Hi. I bought a Rolex 126710 BLRO - I paid grey market prices. May I say I’m massively disappointed. It’s just boring - the bezel colours are dark; the whole watch hasn’t grabbed me. So unfortunately I got taken in by the hype - never meet your hero.
Btw all GMTs have polished center links not just the white gold Pepsi😬
Where can get this ?
Can u pls say hw were you able to get your hands on one. Its impossible to get one because of the waiting list is long and production being low
