This is a real treasure. Wish I could find more games like this. It was neat how the postgame interviews also got into the post. Austin Carr would be a lottery pick today. I was impressed with how humble he was.
So strange to watch a college basketball game from 51 years ago without a color analyst who pipes in every 15 seconds with some mumbojumbo that some people can't understand. This is a great UL, thanks!
Austin Carr was great; but, better than Pete Maravich ... ? I don't know about that. Either way can you imagine if, Maravich and Carr played today; with a three point line ? Dang, they were both great, along with Purdues outstanding scorer, Rick Mount. There were some great scorers of the ball back then.
