Those KD Sniper Spitzer idiots, I've legit just left the match/killed myself rather than reward that play style. I'd rather lose the hunter or die to AI/Fall damage than give them the satisfaction. If you can kill them, then awesome but when they never push, just deplete your meds and consumables from 250m away. Let them sit there till the match timer runs out.
Having high kd by playing like pussies, Even when i play snipers with / w/o spitzer i still push with it lol unless a situation forced me to play like that having 50 hp left.
an entire trio vs a single guy with a sparks and an uppercut could just rush him with their knifes and he couldnt really do much, i dont get players playing this defensively.
@@Lickwit It's funny how people seem to "know" how it "really" is lol I'm from that team. We fought two teams (or a trio and solo, but at least 4 guys in total) before coming around Hemlock, where Hornet was fighting another team. At that time we didn't know he was a solo, and indeed thought he was just a bait, and perhaps two others are just waiting inside the compound. We didn't "kd farm" nor are we "kd farmers". We pushed the others in close combat before coming to Hemlock, but in this fight we didn't want to fall into a bait - as we use similar baits ourselves when we see that there are people further away from the bounty. For example, two of us pick up the bounty and "run away", while one stays: when the (most likely) long ammo team finally decides to chase us, we quickly turn back and kill them. We thought it was like that. But I guess it doesn't matter, since we are just "losers" and "kd farmers"... lmao When Hornet started going towards Windy, we started to seriously consider him as solo, which is when we got a lot closer. He was (didn't know he was Hornet ofc) a good player, and we didn't want to just "rush in" and die. He played defensively inside and we approached the situation with patience, but I guess that is "protecting kd" or whatever... Hornet says that we could have "easily" just pushed him, which is not true, given that he is a good player who hits his shots - and he almost killed us. So, that comment is downplaying his own skills. He is/was good. It's not just "easy". If we knew he was a solo at Hemlock, we would have pushed. Things have different perspectives and reasoning, but I guess we are just "losers" and "kd farmers" no matter what :D Well, it's good that one fight in one match is all that is needed to make a conclusive statement about us. I don't mind the saltiness nor the name-calling, but the faulty logic and one-sided perspective does bother me a bit. Nevertheless a good fight from Hornet.
@@suolasirotin You seem like you really took two random comments on a youtube video super personal. Where did anyone even call you guys "Losers" as you keep on quoting over and over again in your mini rant? And where did we say we "know" how it "really" is (again as quoted by you) You really shouldn't take everything to heart when people say something about you, especially if it's two random strangers in the comment section of a youtube video. You're not owing someone else a playstyle in any game, including hunt. You can play in any way you want in order to have fun. Now while you can play in any way you want, you can definitely expect people to criticize your gameplay if it limits their own fun. That's just how it is and you shouldn't be so offended by that. Being offended that easily on the internet is a death sentence for your mental health lol. But since you're very agitated by these two comments let me try to rationalize my line of thought here for you. We see hornet finishing up his fight at hemlock and see just one red glow in the distance indicating an enemy at the range-limit of his darksight. Hornet decides to wait a bit and see if you were going to get any closer (which he correctly figures you would not do). Hornet then starts counter peeking a few times and then figures out there is not one of you but three. After not hitting anything he decided it would not be worth it to wait forever and do nothing or to keep peeking you guys and be at a MASSIVE disadvantage against scoped rifles at long range. Which is why he started rotating to windy where he eventually started the waiting game again. Now this is where you claimed you were considering him having been an actual solo and started getting a lot closer to him. But from what I could see from the video (the blackscreen edit) you guys took over 10 min to get close enough for hornet to start to engage you guys. That doesn't exactly strike me as you guys getting a lot closer. Now a lot of this can definitely be rationalized to an extent by the reasoning you gave but it still seems like your team was playing super safe and cautiously in general, but we all know that this type of playstyle is also usually linked to the infamous kd farmers you seem so desperate to not be associated with. Now can you really be mad at the few people that watched this video and commented that they didn't understand why anyone would play like that? If I were you I'd take a good look at myself and decide whether I'd want to waste my time thinking everyone hates me and then justifying my playstyle to some randos on youtube.
@@suolasirotin I mean y'all could have just gotten the bounty and checked. You chased what you thought was a team with a just a single bounty across like 3 compounds and never grabbed the token they left behind. Y'know, the bounty token. The point of the game.
Noooo, the KD farmer spank failed. Hornet forgot to throw his Frag uncooked at the gate while he had Monroe dancing after killing the 2nd guy. Even had he failed it would have been a wipeout. But I guess I'm the only crazy who throws a live nade to play chicken with like some sort of circle of death gunfight. Had the inside guy flanked to the door Hornet would had time to world heal or knuckle knife or the res would have blocked by the frag cooking on the ground. Sometimes cooking grenades is not the pro move 🤷♂️ Throwing uncooked is still a viable pressure or block tactic.
One of my defensive tactics is throwing a grenade a couple feet in front of me while running forward that way if the enemy chases I'll go past it and they blow up, they think it's a decoy half the time and just die or almost die lmao
hornet doesnt make entire video out of the title, its usually either the majority or a portion of the video sparks/uppercut is a fairly expensive loadout though, not cheap by any means
Hornet, why is it you never do the empty shell reloads on bolt weapons (basically just reloading after firing a shot so that you eject the empty shell and don't have to waste ammo)?
I am playing this game for 2 weeks now. I am learning how to play by watching your videos and I have done my first 1v3 because of all the tricks that I see you do. So Thank you for that :) but I have one really important question to ask : « Why are you watching the ground and turning left and right while reviving or looting ?? » Great videos and gameplay in general btw. Keep up the good work
What the others said. In practice however it doesn't really work. Every time I've shot at the head of someone having a seizure while looting, it has always counted as a headshot.
The lesson i learned today is that hornet only dies while using world medkits
they have evil death in them
@@hornetlul i can confirm this is true as i have thrown my mouse every time i used it

They might have thought hornet wasn't alone either and was trying to bait them in.
