Obviously, no one can ever replace Linda but this young lady has such a voice and expression that she doesn't really need to pretend to be Linda, as she can hold her own in any company and I hope will do well. Good band too.
I could not agree more concerning your estimate of Tristan in this peace. She is that outstanding herself, without any need to resemble or copy anyone! Fascinating!
Hell yah. I first heard this in the late 70's when I was in high school, and then I got to see it performed live by Lowell George and Little Feat in the late 70's just before Lowell George died an untimely early death. Little Feat is up front on my play list to this day, and I'm 66.
I just want Tristan and the band to know that this is my absolute favorite cover of this song . They knock it out of the park . She does a killer job on the vocals !!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Back in the 70s this song would play occasionally but it was hard to find on her albums. It has always been a favorite of mine along with Crazy. I was at a Ronstadt concert at Red Rocks in those years sitting in the front rows. Yelled out Crazy, she nodded in my direction and sang the song. Great night.
I closed my eyes and it was 1976 once again.... your voice is so sweet it brought tears to my eyes... such talent can be overwhelming ... thank you so much..
Wow. I am am awestruck. Like no kiddin'. Linda will always hold a very special place in my heart. I was such a big fan I saw her in my teens when she was doing her Nelson Riddle Orchestra Torch songs tour. It was amazing. This young lady is brave and does the tunes justice. The cutie pie aspect doesn't hurt either, but dang she really nails it. I am also so happy because the music was sooo good (IMHO) than what we've got going on out there now to a large degree. There's hope that great songwriters, melodies, harmonies, etc will live on...THANKS much.
Great voice, great cover. If you're going to honor and pay tribute to anyone, there's none better than Linda. And I'm sure she'd love this. I'd love to hear more, like All That You Dream or White Rhythm and Blues. But wherever you all are now, I wish you all the best.
Linda was my girlfriend in the mid to late 70’s. I don’t think she knew about it, but I still listen to her all the time. Great cover of one of my faves!
Just discovered her and this version. Very joyful... wishing the entire group great success... she is that good and doing Linda covers is a good stepping stone.
I have now had the pleasure of listing to many more of your songs, The band is Awesome and the Female singer has a great feel for the songs and an excellent voice. I hope you are all very proud of your self. Cindy I take it you are the singer ? you sing with confidence and a such an easy breeze, I have been enjoying following, Please keep on performing all of you Cheers.
I love Linda. Over my 60 years I've seen dozens of Ronstadt tribute bands. If you are a pro musician everybody in this video is doing what you are expected to do -and admirably! But what sticks out is the lady. This woman is exceptional. That voice and the way she applies it to Linda's material is superb.
Fantastic. I was in HS when Heart Like A Wheel came out. In general, I hate covers. But she just killed this tune. It was fantastic and I'd bet a paycheck that Lowell was thrilled and loved it too. Now this. Excellent across the board. She didn't overdo it. Just right. Many thanks for posting this.
I believe that this is THE BEST rendition of one of my favorite songs. I'm not a big C-W fan, but this Lowell George piece always makes smile and touches my heart. Excellent job, Tristan! And the band, magical!
Linda loved you for many years this song is definitely dedicated to Peter Kalamarides the only trucker I know he’s my first cousin he’s driving the artic in Alaska. The greatest state ever
I'm embarrassed to say it but I watched it about half way through thinking this was an early Linda Ronstadt video. Your voice and the band is perfect and your bangs haircut had me fooled. This is probably the best version of this song ever.
A cover I can safely like. Linda's inspiration is clearly visible by this lady's performance. Awesome band as well as great harmony. There is another good version which was sung on the talent show "Norway's Voice" where Marianna Sorsenberg sing's a great cover with an amazing voice.
I can hear the intonations of Linda Ronstadt but not the voice it's the way it should be this girl has her own voice and she's singing it in her own style the way it should be ,carry on you have a unique gift.
I bought most of Linda's albums back then and still dip into them... Actually no one can sing like Linda. Her vocal power, intonation ! This girl and band is good...But only Linda....Aye yi yi. Lowell George WAS Little Feat. Two truly legendary artists. Watch Linda sing this song here on TH-cam 😢❤.
Lovely peripatetic Linda Ronstadt. I’m still willin’…Alice…Dallas Alice. Give me weed, whites and wine…and you show me a sign…lovely movin’ Lowell George.
Then another talented artist will copy Tristan.
I don't know. I think this singer could certainly replace Linda.
Hell yah. I first heard this in the late 70's when I was in high school, and then I got to see it performed live by Lowell George and Little Feat in the late 70's just before Lowell George died an untimely early death. Little Feat is up front on my play list to this day, and I'm 66.
I think Lowell George era Little Feat is criminally underappreciated.
One of the best covers Linda ever did and this young lady nails it. Amazing job.
I bet Lowell smiles every time someone plays this song. Great job.
I just want Tristan and the band to know that this is my absolute favorite cover of this song . They knock it out of the park . She does a killer job on the vocals !!!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Wow. I am am awestruck. Like no kiddin'. Linda will always hold a very special place in my heart. Man you said it all... wasn't Linda.. but it was damn good..

Tristan You're Awesome! You would make LINDA PROUD!!!!!! Definitely will see you perform n Band in concert soon!
Linda was my girlfriend in the mid to late 70’s. I don’t think she knew about it, but I still listen to her all the time. Great cover of one of my faves!
Beautiful, fantastic voice and a fantastic band ❤️🎶
Great song by an often overlooked talent. Big Lowell George fan.
... best cover of "Willin'' I've ever heard or seen ... brings back memories of 'The Queen of Rock & Roll" in the 70s ...
Unbelievably good... indescribably wonderful.
This brought tears to my eyes.

Ma'am ... you've nailed it spot on. Lowell smiles as does Ms. Linda. Nicely done ...😎
She (and the band) does a wonderful rendition of this song. Mr. Lowell is smiling.

God didn't take away Linda's voice. It's recorded for posterity, a gift forever.

This woman has an incredible voice. Wish I could see her out in California. Amazing talent...
Fabulous version of a really great song. Flawless voice.
Love this song. Thank you!
What a beautiful voice, beautiful singer, an incredible band!!
I bought Heart Like a Wheel in 1973, and listened to this every night, over and over again… still play it in my acoustic cover show… all time fav!
It was released in Nov of '74
@@lbowsk I stand corrected…. Thanks! The memory fades a bit after 50, I mean 49 years, LOL! Still one of the great albums by the GOAT female vocalist.
Beers are on me!@@jed1166

She gets better with each song!
I am the biggest Linda fan and this is a beautiful and flawless cover.
