- Today's video invites you to follow my family to a picnic camping area called Lata Camping Can Gio.
This is a campsite with peaceful scenery and interesting fun activities.
We will depart from the city center, then travel by Binh Khanh Ferry to Can Gio district, go about 40 KM through Rung Sac road, then turn onto Duyen Hai road to continue to Lata Camping area. . This camp is located near Phuong Nam Can Gio Resort.
The camp is located at: 1227/6 Duyen Hai street, the distance of Lata Camping from Binh Khanh ferry is 43 KM.
Lata Camping is located far from the city. 2 hours away from Ho Chi Minh City, this place has peaceful scenery and interesting fun activities.
This is a brand new camping site in Can Gio district, attracting a lot of tourists, especially young people, on weekends.
The camping area is designed in a modern style, including accommodation area, camping area, photography area, garden, path to the beach... with many beautiful photography angles. The tents and tube houses are beautifully designed and diverse, suitable for families or couples.
The total maximum accommodation capacity of this campsite is about 500 guests per night. This camping site will start operating from the holiday of April 30, 2023.
Can Gio tourism is emerging recently. Along with the current Rung Sac road upgrading and improvement projects, moving to this camp is also quite easy.
Just over 1 hour by motorbike. Just cross the Binh Khanh ferry to reach Can Gio. You will follow Rung Sac road with vast mangrove forests on both sides.
Coming to Can Gio, you can come and have fun during the day, visit Sac Forest, Monkey Island, and breathe fresh air that is rare to find anywhere else.
The Rung Sac road when we were traveling was also being upgraded and some sections were re-paved with asphalt, so it will run very smoothly in the near future.
Rung Sac Road has its starting point at Binh Khanh ferry terminal and its ending point at the intersection with Road 30/4 (Long Hoa commune, Can Gio district). This is the main road leading to the district center, 36.5 km long.
This is the road through the green mangrove forest. This is a check-in place not to be missed when coming to Can Gio.
The camp allows check-in according to hotel hours from 2:00 p.m. You will check in at the counter, then a staff member will lead you to the tent location to store your belongings and rest.
This is the room price at the time I went, prices ranged from 1.2 million for a small tent to 2.5 million for a large wooden house. Holidays and weekends will incur additional charges.
The type of tent I rented is called Dome, the weekend rental price for 2 people with breakfast is 2 million.
The tent has air conditioning and all necessary items such as towels, brushes, irons, hair dryers and an additional standing fan.
One thing to note is that you should ask for ointment to prevent insect bites. This area has many insects due to the hot weather and proximity to the sea.
The cafe restaurant area has many places to sit and relax and have a drink. You need to order water/food at the counter, then the staff will bring it to you later.
The camp will have 2 toilet areas, this is a fairly new small bathroom and toilet area, cleaned quite often so it is very clean. However, the minus point is that this area lacks water at night, so you have to move to the large bathroom area.
This area is decorated with many miniature landscapes for taking beautiful photos. We invite you to take a walk around.
The beach here is not suitable for swimming. In front of me is a clam farming area for residents in the area. So please avoid digging in the area behind this prohibited sign.
The dining area is quite spacious and clean, with many large tables suitable for families.
