awesome show and love to be able to see the prices of coins all around south africa keep uploading more coin shows and show us the different pieces up close and what you'd reccomend for stacking love from CPT
Nice to see the Griquatown coins. I believe this is a very interesting part of your history. I have the 1D Victoria pattern of 1890. Enjoyed the video and look forward to the next.
I would love to see a fair hosted in JHB soon! This is the type of fair where a person like me will have to explain to my wife why we don't have money for food.....
Hi How would i go about having my coins graded and what would the average cost be for such an exercise. I've been told that sometimes the costs of grading is sometimes more than the value of the coin. Any advice here
Such a good question. With NGC you're looking at around R700 per coin and at SANGS around R150. It's often not worth grading a common coin, it really depends on what you have. Are you based in South Africa? Here's a video on the topic: th-cam.com/video/XBUgKxZSPc4/w-d-xo.html
I have 14 " ticky's " in my small coin collection, from 1928 to somewhere in the 60's. I have a 1937 that looks almost black. Why is that the only one with the " blackish " colour, can it be oxidation or just plain dirty ?
Hello sr very interesting the old coins show.
Blessings
