Because she works at an office, she'll change the eye to another colour to see if anyone notices. If she's asked if it's removable, she offers to do it. Thanks for the video.
My 3 year old has an artificial eye due to retinoblastoma. Videos like this help him feel more normal. I clean his goobers on the regular. Wonderful video. You are awesome.

Get him very comfortable with his eye, and try to dissuade him from being self conscience in school. He will want to hide the fact and probably will get frustrated with all the stupid kids always asking questions about it. That was the toughest part, I never wanted to talk about it with people and would be so embarrassed when all the kids (being kids) would constantly ask questions about it. Your boy will be ok, in fact better than ok. My eye has defined my personality in so many ways, I am much more in tune with reality. Looking in the mirror contemplating mortality at age 3 is not normal, but it sure makes you a deep thinker from the start. I’m getting my left eye removed in about a month, I was born when my mom was 5 months pregnant. In order to keep me alive they had to keep my oxygen tank pressure high, this caused my optic nerve in my left eye to “explode”. I grew up only being able to see with my right while my left didn’t grow as I did, my pupils are different sizes and I can’t control it’s movements, I was always self conscious growing up so hopefully getting my eye removed/a prosthetic eye my confidence will boost. :) my doctor recommended this exact video to learn how to take care of my prosthetic eye once I get it. This is incredibly helpful!

It’s also how they express someone’s intelligence and their connexion to the world. They probably did a good job when they created the glass eye but they based their design on the existing one and the result is pure harmony.

My uncle lost his leg to a bomb in iraq aaaages ago and as a kid he said a shark bit it off and Id run off crying lmao! Later on in my life he explained the whole thing, but the lil story was the best.

Thank you for helping me clean my glass eye. I took it out and thought it was really squishy, and was a bit hard to take out, there were some wires attached to it, but it got it out! I cleaned my eye and put it back in, now I could only see in one eye

Thank you for helping me clean my glass eye. I took it out and thought it was really squishy, and was a bit hard to take out, there were some wires attached to it, but it got it out! I cleaned my eye and put it back in, now I could only see in one eye
