Mmmm it takes a little to load all the images so I would switch it to another image and then back to the image you want so it can be loaded to the project. Also, you might want to check your png files, download them again from the design software of your liking. It can either be corrupted or have a white background underneath it making it seem like a .jpg :)
Ms. Sofia, the test for true or false in the _if_ construct if (booleanExpression == true) { //pardon the Java syntax :) … } is redundant. You can simply write it out as if (booleanExpression) { … } Same goes for assignment to Boolean variables: if (booleanExpression == true) { booleanVariable = true; } else { booleanVariable = false; } can be simplified to: booleanVariable = booleanExpression; So in the Thunkable block builder, you can dispense with the _"="_ + _true_ blocks
When you add the canvas as-is component and view it on the phone or online, do you see the red beaver? If so, then I suggest changing the beaver sprite's and duplicating it. It takes a little bit to load images so be patient. But if you don't see the beaver on your phone, then my suggestion is to check if there have been some issues regarding the canvas and the operating system of your phone (Apple, Android), find the last version of the Thunkable Companion or look in the community forums what is going on :)

Sofia Nice, that’s what I thought. I work at a low income school with not much of a budget. MS Paint, PowerPoint,,and Google Drawings only go so far. Lol. We use whatever we can get our hands on though. Keep up the good work with the kids!

Hi Sofia! Thanks so much for sharing your game design! BUT, I am looking at the blocks on Thunkable right now and it seems a lot of the blocks (like the entire game) are missing. Would you be able to check on it? I'd like to try to remix it for my own project. Much appreciated :)
@@nicolehsu1158 if you're having trouble finding the blocks you can always click right on the block tab and choose 'clean up blocks' which will put all the blocks in a list :))

Hey! It depends. All the blocks are free to use! You can upload the game with your own art :) you are free to to this with no attribution to the original maker. However if you upload the game as is with my original art I’m going to ask for some credit inside your app. Like a link to the original tutorial in medium or this TH-cam video. The point of this video is to share the knowledge on how to code games with Thunkable.

MrScoots30 I used illustrator :) but you can use almost anything :)

MrScoots30 you can use canvas, look for the free icons and export the items as pngs :). Then remove the white background with paint :)

Ah, disregard. I found the other blocks. The Thunkable blocks workspace is sooo awkward and drops blocks all over the place! Thanks again for sharing!
