I got into a back and forth argument with someone on Twitter about his performance this game. Dude basically said ingram only plays hero ball , turns it over too much and doesnt play defense than went on to say if CJ was shooting we would have won. Look , bi missing that free throw was tough . It was. But let's be real. Down by 20 hes why we got back in the game. He was the only one trading buckets with jokic the entire 4th quarter. He was giving crazy effort on defense. He didnt even shoot that much considering how many points he had . He had 9 assists. Tbh what lost us this game was jokic. Why did willie freen wait to start doubling him until OT? they should have been doing that. Force other people to hit shots idc I'd they are wide open 3s would rather that than Jokic literally waltz his way into the paint with the same slow ass moves over and over and over. Than with 1 minute left in OT , down by 4 , we steal it got a 3 on 1 break and CJ pulls up for a 3 and bricks it than the nuggets turn it around and score immediately!? So instead of taking the almost automatic 2 pts and cutting it to 2 we waste the possession and go down by 6 with a minute left ... that shit is frustrating but people wanna get on bi for hero ball ? He was barely missing the whole second half . It's just really frustrating. He has an off game poeole say he sucks he has a crazy star level performance hes playing hero ball. Wtf is wrong with people. He damn near dropped a 40 piece being doubled every time he touched the ball .he also put people in some really really good spots to get easy shots and they missed most of them
Ppl be talking too much nowadays without even watching the games no matter what facet improves in a player they will always have a stereotype looming over their heads ab empty stats or not playing defense it’s useless to argue with these bots
@@beanbean656 I get that and last year maybe they'd have an argument but look at their win % this year when Ingram has played. They right under .600 . Like that is a winning record. Period. What he did last night after starting 0 for 6 I thought right away like damn its gonna be one of those games and he caught fire . His stats are translating to wins. Big time .
Sadly, there are some (casual) NBA fans for whom Ingram will never be good enough, simply because he's doesn't represent the flashy style of play they prefer. That being said, the team is 2-13 without him, which is an 11 win pace over 82 games (which would tie for 3rd worst in NBA history). So essentially, Ingram has, by the sheer force of his play, transformed a historically bad team into a fringe playoff team. . .

@@beanbean656 I'm interested to see just what version of Zion we get when he returns (which I do not expect until next season). He can help a basketball team win games in any number of ways, and this current team doesn't need him to score 27 a night or be a 1st option.
