Hampden was made for nights like this. Group of death. Backs to the wall. Defend for your life and believe a chance will come. And it came. A glorious campaign that was derailed by poor away performance in Georgia and ended in glorious defeat to Italy. 8 wins from 12 matches was awesome but just fell short.
