2014 was a great year for Rollerblade. As a brand we brought our fans high quality content and innovative products. The Rollerblade athletes travelled the globe and skated the most impressive and beautiful areas. All for the love of the sport and to challenge themselves. Rollerblade released videos such as: City Explorer with Sofi Carreras, Cityhopper with Sven Boekhorst, the Berlin marathon battle with Jorge Botero and many more. Rollerblade also launched the highly anticipated Hydrogen Wheels that give you more performance, power and response.
In short a great year for Rollerblade. You can see all our video and content on our TH-cam and Vimeo channel. Next stop 2015, where we will roll together and bring you even more high quality Rollerblade products and content. Never understood what people have against helmets... Even professionals are still human beings and are prone to mistakes as well, helmets can go a long way in keeping us alive. Beautiful video, nonetheless.
+Ay. Yeah. I wear the helmet 99% of the time and wrist pads 75% of the time. Don't want to turn up at work with a broken wrist. Also don't want to not turn up at work with brain damage. Sometimes it's not your fault, so idiot could run into you. Plus the helmet keeps the sun out.

I don't pride myself in doing tricks on my inlines, but the reason why I love my rollerblades is because I was the slowest kid in my physical education class in school; I hated myself for not being able to run as fast as everyone else. Now I make up for it by blazing around on inlines and its immense fun.

Ive been a runner for years and cant run as efficiently anymore from injuries and scarring in lungs so really excited about inline slating to have physical activity and perhaps will build me up ! Cheers

Bonito vídeo! Veo muchas imágenes de Barcelona y me encanta. También me gusta ver diferentes disciplinas de patinaje in line que cada día están más en auge. Seria muy bueno que para la compilación de 2015 pudiéramos ver un poco de baile con patines.

2 for me when i get on rollerblades my feet starts hurting a lot 20-25 mins later on longboard imcan skate minimum a hour

+Dimitri Dehouck Skateboards are cheaper so parents like them and skates take longer to master. Kids can just jump on a board and off they go. When I skate past kids carrying boards I get admiring glances as I whoosh past. Hahaha

Ando de patins a 22 anos e nunca andei sem capacete, joelheira, cotuveleira e munhequeira, principalmente quando eu saia na rua para praticar street, fazer downhill e andar no bowl do Rio Sul e Half-Pipe do Maracanã.
Vi diversas pessoas se arrebentarem por achar frescura andar sem equipamento e capacete salvou minha vida umas 5x.
Um colega morreu com traumatismo por estar sem capacete.

Freestyle/Freeskate is way more fun than aggressive stuff.
I wish I had a roller skating crew to freeride with.... I can freeride with the best of them and have been skating since I was 8... we need more skaters in CA.....
