The construction of National Road No. 10 with a total length of 198,218 km (PK000 + 000 - PK198 + 518) has achieved an overall result of 88.38% and as of the end of June 2024.
This project starts from National Road No. 57-7 at PK 35 + 900 in Kanchang village, Song commune, Samlot district, Battambang province, passing through Bramoy commune, Veal Veng district, Pursat province, until National Road No. 48 (old) at PK1 + 700 in Sangkat Smach Meanchey. Khemarak Phoumin City, Koh Kong Province.
This progress includes 80.26% of road works, 93.23% of bridges, 530 meters of tallest bridge, 43.50% (scheduled for trial use by the end of March 2025). Drainage work across the road reached 99.82% and drainage work along the road and retaining wall was completed 89.84%.
During this rainy season, National Road No. 10 can be traveled smoothly, but be careful because some sections of the road are still red gravel and some sections can be slippery when it rains heavily.
It should be noted that National Road No. 10 is a Grade III two-layer paved road (DBST) with a total road length of 198,518 km and a width of 9 meters. The road construction project has a period of 66 months and construction began on December 18, 2019 and is scheduled to be completed in June 2025.
