I would suggest adding a screw or skewer into these from the base upwards to make them a bit sturdier. Pillars are something that I've found end up batted around by accident more than just about anything on the table with various setups
Hey bud! I'd like to see some builds from your new campaign, maybe a boss fight room or maybe just random encounter terrain, either way just want to see what your new world looks like...I'm always looking forward to seeing your videos...good job!!!
Loving these "return to the Classics" videos. You have improved so much and developed immensely as a creator. These pillars were the first terrain piece I ever made and were integral to me finding my truest source of creativity. Thank you!
Revisiting your old projects should definitely become a series. I like seeing your progress and you have clearly learned a lot over time and thanks to you, I have also learned a lot. I would love to see you revisit your "dollar store foam house" video. It would be interesting to see, what you can come up with, using cheap and available materials and your new gained knowledge. Revisiting ANY old project would be cool. I should definitely do that sometime.
Loving the return to basics. I'd love to see the dollar-store house redone with the same concept of "How can I make this more efficient and add some embellishments?"
Absolutely loving seeing you revisit the builds that first got me hooked on your channel. Seeing something not only improved, but made more efficient to make is really cool.
Hi Jeremy! Thanks for all you do. Here's the deal: I've been watching you for years - and I don't play D&D or any tabletop games with minis, heck I don't even craft - I just love watching your videos!! You did inspire me (more importantly, you provided the techniques and the confidence to make me think I could do it!) to build a book nook/diorama for my daughter for Christmas one year. These revisits are great and there are several I would love to see you do (hag's hut, fountain, Underdark tiles) but revisiting the LONG SHIP (with the Krakken) would be EPIC! Thanks again and keep building!!
it's really cool seeing how much your skills and style have improved and changed since the start of your channel. I'd love to see you tackle modular walls or doors next!
Loving the revisiting of these old projects! Thank you for putting out great content that's easy to learn from. BMC was definitely my gateway into the crafting side of tabletop and I'm hooked!
I'd be down to see you go through some of the most popular older builds (hag hut, Dollar store house, ect)! Honestly just sort by popularity and go ham!
One of my favorite videos you did was the dollar tree house without using your hot wire foam cutter or thick XPS sheets outside of the foamcore. I'd love to see a return to the classics video where you did the same thing now.
I really enjoy these videos of revisiting old projects. It's fun to see how they progress and get better. Thank you for getting me into this hobby in the first place!
While watching you revisit these old builds, I'm always thinking "These new ones don't look THAT much better"... And then you reveal a side by side! It's night and day!
Doors, modular walls and stair tiles would be great to see you give an updated take! Also, I love the modern/cyberpunk stuff you did like the dumpsters and the containers so anything new in that range would be awesome!
Love to see you applying your new skills and tools to your old builds. I made your pillars when you first did them, and used drywall screws to give them weight. Just run a couple of 1.5" or 2" screws up the column from the bottom, and you give them weight as well as extra strength, which they don't *need*, but whatever. It's fast, cheap, and doesn't require any more gluing or cure time.
IMHO obviously doorways are the next classic project to tackle. could be a few diffrent ones as well. Castle, Cavern, Dungeon, Building, Runes etc. . .
That was awesome man! Really neat to see how you approach the same project years later, even if the old ones still hold up well. If this becomes a semi-regular thing, I think your lantern post build would be a solid candidate for revisiting.
Great video, nice to see you refresh your classic builds. Your first pillars video was one of my first D&D crafting projects. Keep up the great content 😃👍🏼
I still have my original pillars you taught how to make. They were great because they can be used on paper maps just as well as the 3D dungeon tiles. Thanks for going back over your old crafts! Watching these new video's is a treat!
WoW! I took some time off and missed Black Magic Craft! Was so happy that you kept to your roots and do projects that everyone can do. I did the original pillars and the success inspired to try many more wonderful things. Thanks Jeremy! You Rock
Another great, super clean build! And I've gotta say that your close up detail shots and camera work has improved significantly. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it!
I'm loving it! I thought it would be a one-video only but I'm CRAZY to see all your stuff revisited. You made my start in this hobby so easier, now it's making it all the more better :) Cheers from Brazil!
I have never been this early to a video before in my life! I'm sure back in the day, we used to have a word for this...? Ah well, it'll come to me - Anyway! I love that you're revisiting the old stuff but with your newest experience and techniques!
I would like to see an addition added onto that old Tudor!! Alternate project - DIY jig and handle for that coffee-can and spin it like rotisserie instead of swirling? Easy, cheap, and innovative!! 💡
I am so enjoying these "revisits". As I have watched your channel for the early days, my skill has improved too. But, most of all, I just enjoy your presentation and creativity! Thank you and keep it coming!
While I have enjoyed all your videos- the classics are what made me follow your journey so have a certain appeal to me. These builds always seemed so approachable. Love the return to them
I love the way you built these. I'm in the middle of making a bunch of pillars for a Halloween diorama I'm working on. I really wish I'd thought to do it this way instead of making about 500 individual bricks. I'm half tempted to just start over and save the other bricks for something else.
Great revisit. I remember attempting the original pillar build. Tedious doesn't even begin to describe it. I ended up just sticking foam bricks to wooden dowels and called it a day.
I have taken the first columns made thanks to your videos and I have inserted magnets so I can use them to raise structures by one or two floors. Now they are clumsy player-proof.
One older project I'd like to see revisited is your stone bridge speedbuild project! I'm curious to see how a couple more years of experience and access to new tools/materials would change your approach 0:
You know what might be a fun project? Find a piece of 70s or 80s fantasy artwork and try to replicate the feel as scatter terrain. Think like Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, or Julie Bell type work. Basically anything that could be painted on the side of a panel van!
Would love to see you revisit the vampire on the staircase. Not directly remaking it, but at least a similar concept. Probably one of my favourite things you've made.
I have been watching this channel for years. Your stuff is always awesome, and entertaining. Thanks. I am going to go make these pillars now. They look great. And I'm always looking for ways to do things faster.
I'm not sure if it's old enough to be a "classic", but I'd love to see you revisit "The Shack". I think it was your first build that really impressed me, and I'd love to see you tackle it again with your current skill set.
I just got reeled back to your channel by a search about hero forge's mini. After watching your older video review about them, I'm glad to see that ''Iris''? the deceiver is still of use!
My absolute favorite was the tutor style house series. Could you maybe revisit that? Not in a series form, but like a short follow up, how would you create something like that with the knowledge you have today
Absolutely love this channel and these revisit videos. I picked up terrain crafting after finding you and have gained immense joy from it. I even picked up the hot wire table to step things up a notch. Can you talk about the tool you use along with it? The one you used to glue the pillars together. Looks like a handmade guide.
I like the colour of the revised pillars more, these are great. More revisitations gets my vote.. how about new acidic dungeon tiles, I'd like to see what you'd do with them.
Well since you're doing revisiting, I'll have to throw out what introduced me to your channel: Dice Tower. Your vid was a great help back then and I used it to make some for my friends for Christmas a few years ago when I was getting into the hobby. Would be curious to see if/what improvements could be made.

Great work as always, some serious nostalgia seeing you start over, can't beleive it was 5 years. some serious nostalgia.
I would suggest adding a screw or skewer into these from the base upwards to make them a bit sturdier. Pillars are something that I've found end up batted around by accident more than just about anything on the table with various setups

Loving these "return to the Classics" videos. You have improved so much and developed immensely as a creator. These pillars were the first terrain piece I ever made and were integral to me finding my truest source of creativity. Thank you!
It is immensely helpful to me as a newbie, to learn from someone who's learned. (Also comparing beginner projects to "five years later" is great)
I am too. I’ve been doing that with my own projects and it’s pretty cool to see my progression. The same applies here.
Hehe! I made a version of those pillars a couple of weeks ago as well 😂👍🏻.
The modular ruined walls would be a great project to revisit. I've got so much play out of my own batch.
Agreed, the ruined walls would be cool too.
yeah, I'd like to see the walls again!
Agree
Revisiting your old projects should definitely become a series. I like seeing your progress and you have clearly learned a lot over time and thanks to you, I have also learned a lot. I would love to see you revisit your "dollar store foam house" video. It would be interesting to see, what you can come up with, using cheap and available materials and your new gained knowledge.
Revisiting ANY old project would be cool. I should definitely do that sometime.
Doors and or cave tiles would be great.
And as everyone else has said, this should definitely be a reoccurring series.
Agreed! Doors and cave tiles.
Also agreed that this should be a regular segment.
Awesome as usual. Keep doing what your doing. Such an inspiration.👍🦍
Love these revisited terrain builds. Reminds me of when I first started watching BMC!
Loving the return to basics. I'd love to see the dollar-store house redone with the same concept of "How can I make this more efficient and add some embellishments?"
Definitely!
I’m in love with this series!! I wanna see you redo the Viking longboat that brought me to your channel originally!
That would be so cool!
Absolutely loving seeing you revisit the builds that first got me hooked on your channel. Seeing something not only improved, but made more efficient to make is really cool.
I really liked the focus on efficiency and variety.
I'm loving the classic project series. Those older videos have always been my favorite, just you, foam, and an idea. I'd love to see more of this.
Hi Jeremy! Thanks for all you do. Really enjoying this classic BMC redux series, excellent!
it's really cool seeing how much your skills and style have improved and changed since the start of your channel. I'd love to see you tackle modular walls or doors next!
Stairs. Low walls. Doors. All the basics! Lots of different methods for all of these. My fav vids.
Love to see the cave tiles or concrete ruins revisited
really loving these past two videos - hope it becomes a series!
Loving the revisiting of these old projects! Thank you for putting out great content that's easy to learn from. BMC was definitely my gateway into the crafting side of tabletop and I'm hooked!

I just got home and this video was posted 20 seconds ago.
This is such a good idea and really cool to see how your process has grown with experience and confidence. More classic revisits, Jeremy!
I really enjoy these videos of revisiting old projects. It's fun to see how they progress and get better. Thank you for getting me into this hobby in the first place!
Daaaamn!! You have improved immensely!! Such joy watching your videos!!
While watching you revisit these old builds, I'm always thinking "These new ones don't look THAT much better"... And then you reveal a side by side! It's night and day!
Love this series, it's a great idea to apply what you've learned to old projects.
Having this as a semi regular series is perfect! Makes me want to print my minis and give them an update.
The added bits really add character and vignette moments to a dungeon crawl.
Doors, modular walls and stair tiles would be great to see you give an updated take! Also, I love the modern/cyberpunk stuff you did like the dumpsters and the containers so anything new in that range would be awesome!
Loving the revisits! Thanks so much for all the inspiration!
I particularly like the added bits to this and the updated floor tiles.
Love to see you applying your new skills and tools to your old builds. I made your pillars when you first did them, and used drywall screws to give them weight. IMHO obviously doorways are the next classic project to tackle. could be a few diffrent ones as well. Castle, Cavern, Dungeon, Building, Runes etc. . .
Thank you for sharing the quick way using the wire cutter and rip fence. Using the back to square them up is great. Very cool!
That was awesome man! Really neat to see how you approach the same project years later, even if the old ones still hold up well. If this becomes a semi-regular thing, I think your lantern post build would be a solid candidate for revisiting.
Definitely the lantern project.
Great video, nice to see you refresh your classic builds. Your first pillars video was one of my first D&D crafting projects. Keep up the great content 😃👍🏼

Amazing work, and I really love the revisited series! It's impressive how you are able to really speed up the process and still get better results 👍
Another great, super clean build! And I've gotta say that your close up detail shots and camera work has improved significantly. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it!
I noticed that too!
I'm loving it! I thought it would be a one-video only but I'm CRAZY to see all your stuff revisited. You made my start in this hobby so easier, now it's making it all the more better :)
Cheers from Brazil!
great job, jeremy. love the revisit series. would love to see a go at that ocean tile you made once upon a time!
I love this new idea of revisiting old ideas!
Others have already said it, but reutrn to the classics is totally the best new series you have on the go.
I have never been this early to a video before in my life! I'm sure back in the day, we used to have a word for this...? Ah well, it'll come to me - Anyway! I love that you're revisiting the old stuff but with your newest experience and techniques!
next time do the stone bridge!! at the time you said you didnt like how it turned out, it would be a great project to re-do
YES! Loving the 'classic Jeremy'! Do the dollar store dragon again or get the plastic tanks out and make something new with them please!
I love the revisiting old builds vids so far. My vote is for the Ruins from Episode 14
I’ve learned so much about painting and making things look better from wathcing you.
Thanks for the channel and all you do.
Always love this channel. Many more years of crafting excellence ahead.
Love the return to them
I love these classic builds with better techniques! I'd love to see your remake of the stackable tower levels with the steps around the outside!
I enjoy the heck out of the revisits to a early projects
Awesome build! Love the old vid but these came out even better.
Would love to se you tackle modular ruins and a fountain (with resin 😍👍🏻)
Bravo man! Modular Ruins, especially the walls would be a classic one to re-visit.
Your dice tower video is how I found this channel. Would love to see your redesign of that!
Have you considered a revamp of a scatter terrain episode? Love the videos, love from Utah.
I love it! I just love this theme of redoing old stuff! Keep doing it :)
I love the new efficiency added to rebuilding these. Stackers next?
It would be cool seeing an updated spider egg sac project.
I have taken the first columns made thanks to your videos and I have inserted magnets so I can use them to raise structures by one or two floors. Now they are clumsy player-proof.
These are so cool! Would love to see you redo either buildings or the modular ruin walls (and cave tiles).
One older project I'd like to see revisited is your stone bridge speedbuild project! I'm curious to see how a couple more years of experience and access to new tools/materials would change your approach 0:

What a clever and super clean way to get those bricks done!! 🤯
That brick effect is such a smart idea.
Would love to see you revisit the vampire on the staircase. Not directly remaking it, but at least a similar concept. Probably one of my favourite things you've made.
I wanted to request the pillars too. So glad to see them revisited. :)
Awesome revisiting of a classic! I am still really curious about how going back to dungeon stackers would be.
love the revisited projects and I think making them a regular thing is a great idea. Maybe one of the wall or portal pieces?
I have been watching this channel for years. Your stuff is always awesome, and entertaining. Thanks. I am going to go make these pillars now. They look great. And I'm always looking for ways to do things faster.
I'm not sure if it's old enough to be a "classic", but I'd love to see you revisit "The Shack". I think it was your first build that really impressed me, and I'd love to see you tackle it again with your current skill set.
Slices!
I would never have thought this one up, but it is brilliant.
Thanks for the inspiration again.
Dungeon stackers have to be next. Super versatile and one of my favorites.
I just got reeled back to your channel by a search about hero forge's mini. After watching your older video review about them, I'm glad to see that ''Iris''? the deceiver is still of use!
Loving the re-visits!
I love your channel! You make building fun and easy. Thank you
Great return to the classics again. I wantta see you take another crack at the longboat in episode 8.
I love the new pillars, they look great and went together fast. Could you score little dungeon doors the same way? Thus saving time.
I think there's a lot of things you could do where you revisit an old video, and do "How I would do it now". A whole series to be sure.
My absolute favorite was the tutor style house series. Could you maybe revisit that? Not in a series form, but like a short follow up, how would you create something like that with the knowledge you have today
this was the absolute first one i thought of. Please!
Awesome!! Loving these revisiting videos!!
Revisit all of them !! Love your work.
Loved this!’ Would love to see the necromancies pyramid thing or the frost throne one revisited!!
Just built your classic towers. Waiting on paint to dry right now... They turned out awesome!
Been meaning to comment that I like how you're rocking the classics on your top shelf. 🤟
Been with you since the originals of these vids and I'm loving seeing you go back to them. How about you revisit pit traps?
very nice, cool to see the process evolve.
Love these redo videos. Into the AM shirts are nice just got 4 of them and they are awesome. Thanks for recommending them.
Glad you like them!
I like the colour of the revised pillars more, these are great. More revisitations gets my vote.. how about new acidic dungeon tiles, I'd like to see what you'd do with them.

Either the tumbledown house or the tower innards get my vote for a revisit
I really enjoy these revisiting videos.
