It varies based on how fatigued my body feels. If I sense significant tiredness, I take a day off. However, most of the time, I opt for active but low-intensity days as a form of a 'break'
Thanks for the support man! The swimming part can indeed be challenging. I usually go swimming with friends to make it more pleasant and give each other feedback. With dedication and effort, you will definitely make progress and get better at it. Good luck!
Hi bro, I love your content. Ive been thinking of doing my first ever 70.3 next year. Im currently a senior in highschool and dont have much experience/time in training. Do you have any recommendations for training routines? Will I be able to do a 70.3 if I use the routine in this vid?
Hey Arnold, Thanks for reaching out, and I'm glad you enjoy the content! Taking on a 70.3 is a fantastic challenge. I'd recommend starting with a structured training schedule to gradually build up your fitness. In the video, I provided a routine that can be a great starting point for your training, but please keep in mind that the volume is too low for a half ironman. Training for a 70.3 requires a progressive approach with sufficient volume, intensity, and recovery. You can find plenty of free training programs on the Internet to help you prepare for a half triathlon. For example: www.macmillan.org.uk/assets/training-zone-triathlon-70-plan.pdf Best of luck on your journey towards your first 70.3, and feel free to reach out if you have any more questions! Happy training! 🏊♂🚴♂🏃♂
@@arnold642 I wouldn't worry to much about the volume, Yeah more volume normally better with this amount of training maybe bit more running you should be able to cover the distance. To be able to do it comfortable or speedy would probably need some more work
I’m a triathlete too! I just started training and was previously a competitive cyclist and was average at both swimming and running so decided to give a shot. Any tips for me?
That's awesome to hear you're getting into triathlons! As a former competitive cyclist with experience in swimming and running, you're already off to a great start. Here are a couple of tips that might help you: Join a Club: Being part of a triathlon club can make training much more enjoyable and motivating. Training with others who are more experienced or have different strengths can really push you to improve faster and keep things fun. Be Consistent and Patient: Consistency is key in triathlon training. Stick to your training plan and be patient with your progress. Improvement takes time, but with regular practice, you'll see results. Best of luck with your training!

@@jonassmisdo you mind if I ask, for someone who is also interested in getting into triathlons as a beginner. Where should one start as far as getting equipment like a bike for a beginner? Any recommended training plans or sites? Thank you
@@nickstevenslucas268 No not at all. I'm thrilled to hear about your interest in getting into triathlons. Here are some recommendations to get you started: Equipment: For equipment, start with the basics: invest in a good pair of running shoes, suitable swimwear, and a bike. You can find reasonably priced bikes by checking out Triathlon Facebook groups where people often sell their equipment, especially as the season now just finished you will find a lot of good deals. Training Plans: For training plans, Google can be your best friend. Simply search for "triathlon training plan beginner sprint/olympic/middle/full distance pdf" (based on the distance you're aiming for). If you prefer a more tailored approach, consider hiring a coach or joining a triathlon club. Good luck on your triathlon journey!
