From the titles, it seems to me that they rushed in to quickly exchange the monosyllabic name of Mao to Hua to pour in some reassuring songs about the leaders' likeness to the masses. I would have never imagined that there would be 2 hours of material available from those 2 weird years though. Thank you so much!
I think there would have also been great economic growth under Hua Guofeng, he would have inherited a country that was educated with a high level of expectancy(Life expectancy went from 35 to 65 during the mao era) . Hua however, made the stupid choice to cooperate with the rightists to oust the left wing of the party, thus breaking the balance of power Mao expected, and paving the way for the rightists to oust him two years after.
