- SCP 4840 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as The Flying City of Audapaupadopolis.
SCP-4840 is a large, ancient, abandoned city floating roughly 7.8km above an empty region in the Russian arctic. The architecture of SCP4840 suggests that, while the city appears to predate any known civilization, it was constructed using advanced techniques and materials, including several components (such as gas lamps) that would not be seen elsewhere in the world for hundreds, if not thousands of years.

You’re right about Mekhane and Yaldabaoth, but the pillar of stars and eyes are not The Scarlet King or Ma’tol. The one made of eyes is SCP-3125, the Stars one is another Kactusverse deity that is explained in another article (6666).
What about the ice and stone pillar?
I hope there's a part 2 to this story, because all this does is raise more questions.

You should check out a channel called the eksploring series. He goes much more in depth then scp explained and he has almost 200 scp videos. The reason I spelled his name wrong is because scp explained censors his name from the comments on there videos. If someone writes his name in a comment, only the person that wrote the comment can see the comment.

But is t the old man set? Or Seth? He was the brother of Cain and Abel one of the people that held the spears that pierced and bound the scarlet king. According to some canons he’s the one for Audapaupadopolis fall and ruin as he’s the one that requested a gift from his father Adam. And that gift ended up being the crown which to say the least did aloooooot of damage.
These authors had imaginations beyond anything I've ever seen. Great work!

For those interested in hints that the foundation has more of a history than meets the eye, look up the department of abnormalities. It's a GOI that strongly hints being a precursor to the foundation and if you love the game Control that's kinda what they're like. What's intresting is that the 05 command are very tight lipped about it but more SCPs are beginning to be connected to the DOA.

Favorite SCP author is djkaktus. His world building and arcs are amazing.
Spoiler alert:
This SCP is basically the Endgame of SCP. Various SCPs like 1000, 076, 073, 179, 001 (both the scarlet king and the gate guardian), and many other are referenced in this SCP. The old man (SCP 4840-A) is one of Adam's son, Seth, who managed to stole Adam's crown. His brothers, Cain and Able, were cursed by his father after attempting to dethrone him. The giant hot carcass is Lancelot's (yes, the knight) corpse, dead after battling various historical figures like Bharata. This is imo, the best SCP.
I like what you did with the animation layers, especially the faces. Good stuff, it’s a slight improvement but it makes a noticeable difference

6:40 I think the monolith of gears and steel represents the mekhanites and I think the monolith of flesh and blood represents the sarkicists. The monolith made of eyes could be representing the daevites.

Dj kaktus has probably the best world-building in the SCP-verse, maybe I'm biased cause anything referencing the Abrahamic religion is a kryptonite for me
You guys should maybe look at scp 6666 ! It’s a long article but it’s an interesting take on where some better known scps come from, (like 1000, 073, 343) and it’s really descriptive too, it gives a handful of pictures and backstory. it’s a neat entry

that is gonna require quite a lot of work to animate and voice act so lets hope they release it in parts or release an hour long animation

Since the Foundation has given him stuff to do he's been harmless.
It's quite possible he killed out of frustration or boredom, I imagine.

That city is history of past present and future and tells how all anomalies are connected in history

I'm a big fan of Djkaktus' works and this is quite the disappointing depiction of this article. No mention of Adam or the interview log with Seth which is almost half of the article.

Anti gravity floating cities in the sky is common in science fiction stories but in those stories there is a SCIENTIFIC explanation as to how that is possible involving advanced antigravity technology but in this story its something MAGICAL not technology.
