i bought a new radiator cap i had replaced my radiator. I notice that my coolant is disappearing but i noticed on my new cap the inside of the cap that goes into the radiator the valve looks flat? Like the spring part is not showing on the cap. Am i suppose to twist it open so the spring will show? like is 2:17 of this video see how its pushed out more mine is flat, but my last cap looked like this videos
New rad cap does not seal as squeezing of main hose displaces fluid to overflow tank I measure 19 mm from top to seal surface but the cap only reaches 16 mm Wrong cap but no luck finding a right one Wll check with dealer (KIA 2011 Sorento v6)

One symptom of a failed radiator cap is the engine overheat light coming on 😂
