This is my first time playing a SMT game. I wanted to try out the original a few years back, but I got into the Xenoblade franchise in late 2021, and never got around to SMT5. Then the announcement of this game caused me to binge your original playthrough, and now that I bought this version, I can't wait to play alongside this playthrough when I finish the original story.

This is looking outstanding on PC. I'm happy they finally released it on other platforms. Oh geez, I forgot all about Dazai. I like the sky view. That's a nice addition.
The art direction was always good and now we get it i n high fidelity. I think it looks great!

I was waiting for this and it's good to see this game on more platforms. I hope it does well. Will you try out honkai: star rail? It's a turn based game that's free to play and gacha.
No gacha from me. Ever. I loathe the gacha and refuse to support it.
Impulse brought the game on switch as I dont mind the quality or frame rates (I cant see the frame difference lol) and the portability is 👌👌, but daymn does the PC version look sexy. The game is such a step up from the OG and them new villains be fine as hell! Its also easier as a casual to get through thr game w/o level grinding so I’m actually comfortable being lower level than enemies and bosses!

Having never played the OG SMT V since i don't own a Switch i'm currently playing the OG story on my PS5 and loving it so far but can't wait to see your videos on the new route. By the time i get to play that route it will be long enough I will have forgotten major story beats. Going to enjoy these videos.

I got this on the Switch because I underestimated how bad draw distance was. I look forward to seeing what the game should look like.
It won't be too different look wise tho. It is ported from Switch.
This is the part where I shamefully admit that I haven't played any SMT game yet, despite playing through the Persona games multiple times and also playing a lot of other Atlus games. Not for lack of interest though, just cause there's only so much time to do anything in a day. I also heard that they're supposed to be a lot harder than other Atlus games, so that always scared me off a bit. I'm looking forward to this playthrough though and now this new route will give me even more of an incentive to check out your original playthrough too.
SMT III is a little bit harder on average for sure, but not insurmountable by any means especially when you learn the Press Turn system. SMTIV has some weird mechanics that don't really make it hard, just a bit RNG whether you have to restart a fight or not (Smirk mechanic pretty much guarantees death on your first time trying almost any boss fight. Fisrt fight you should always just try to find strengths and weaknesses so you can succeed the second time.) but otherwise isn't hard and it allows you to save anywhere. SMTV I don't think is any harder than the Persona games. But that's just my opinion.
