- In February 2016, photographer Luca Locatelli traveled to Mecca and Medina during umrah, a minor pilgrimage that can be made for much of the year. He received permission from the Saudi Arabian authorities to document the trip.

I am from Malaysia and 28 years old, my family and I have not yet performed Hajj due to financial problems, but I hope one of us manages to go to Makkah. I was blessed to go there in 2018. It was amazing. All your worries disappear. The atmosphere is indescribable. The whole area was open 24/7. If you have the means to go there go before going on such lavish & expensive holidays. I've no desire for Dubai etc but will go on this pilgrimage within a heartbeat 💗

Alhamdulillah. I’ve been there for Umrah. I ❤️ looking at the Kaabah, it gives me peace, calmness, happiness & makes me realise that I’m so small and nothing without the mercy of Allah swt. I can look at it for hours and hours. Looking forward to go back there again. InsyaAllah.

I can tell you by experience that if you really wish to get there, you will insha Allah.
When i asked Allah to give me the opportunity to go there, even if i had no money and a company freshly started, at the moment i asked sincerely to Allah, he give me a great ease to do it.
I made a Dua the Monday and the Friday, after Jumua, a brother i didn't knew at that moment came to me and asked me if i wanted to go to Makkah.
He told me that he will pay everything and if i can't pay back it was no a problem, he simply needed a brother to come with him.
And as soon as i said yes, i got lot of easy work were i get lot of money, enough to pay everything and also more.
Later he told me that his trip was planned with brothers who change their mind and let him alone, so he asked Allah to show him who can go there with him and he dreamed of me the following night.
God is the greatest and He's capable of everything.

Sometimes I envy people who have gone to Makkah and had a chance to performed hajj... in faraway Philippines ,it is a previlige. But I can't help to be grateful that I Am a Muslim and believing in Islam . If I can't have an opportunity to visit Makkah for my lifetime ... Learn it first then talk cause Arabic is the language of the Holy Qur'an and you're can never learn the history of the Ibrahim and Mohamed - peace be upon them- without learning the language cause one letter can change the meaning totally in Arabic .

Regarding pilgrimage to Mecca , it's a revival of Ibrahim's rituals and Qaaba is only a direction of prayer to unify people in one direction because our religion is calling for the worship of the only God of this world -the great creator - so it's logical that he ask us to worship Him in only one direction .
Hope you understand now what's the real case and you need to read and not depend on anyone cause they may mislead you by spreading Lies about the true religion .

Hindus invariably circumambulate or Pradakshina, around their deities. This is yet another proof that the Kaaba shrine is a pre-Islamic. In Shiva temples Hindus always practice circumambulation or Pradakshina. Just as in Hinduism, the custom of circumambulation by muslim pilgrims around the entire Kaaba building seven times shows that the claim that in Islam they don't worship stones is not true.

In Sanskrit language Allah, Akka and Amba are synonyms. They signify a goddess or mother. If any non muslim accuses muslims of worshiping a black stone Hajre Aswadh then its an open challenge to them to find a similar stone like it on anywhere earth. Why isnt a single stone like it discovered / present on the whole of planet and why are the scientists incapable of specifying the elements of the stone and why are it's components shown as unknown after the research done on it?!
As simple as it could get, the god is true & so is the stone which isnt from here rather it was a stone brought by Adam from paradise while his descension which with the passage of time turned black due to the sins of mankind.
Now the intriguing trinity to contemplate here is ALLAH'S plan is invincible and his plotting is marvelous and fascinating , , i'll explain how
1.Prophet ADAM(PBUH) was created by God himself and he bought the stone with him.(EARLY PAST)
2. Angel GABRIEL gave the stone to be fixed in QABBA built by Prophet ABRAHAM(PBUH) who is supposed to be the father of Monotheistic faith. (MIDDLE PAST)
3. Prophet MUHAMMAD (PBUH) reformed the abandoned faith and also restored the black stone in place. (LATER PAST)
Now time to reflect upon the GODS control over past , present and future here making his will impeccable and inevitable.
Look at the bond here of prophets with the God and the honorable titles God availed them with.
1. Prophet Adam is supposed to be the first and perfect human since he was created by the GOD himself and was gifted with all the knowledge about everything that even outsmarted the ANGELS all together to begin with in the first place (i.e ever since then till the end of life if every human contributes to the knowledge ,it still isnt 3% to what ADAM had, it is incomparable). So the love of God for his first crafted human is beyond imagination.Now this serves as the beginning of the faith and possession over the Black Stone which was whiter than milk at the time.
2. Prophet Abraham holds the title of being the most closest and friend of GOD called KHALILuLLAH . Now this serves as the middle part/age of the history where the prophet Abraham re-established the faith and possession of the stone.
3. Now the last happens to be the Prophet Muhammad who is the seal of the prophets and messengers, holding the title of HABIBuLLAH meaning most beloved of GOD who reformed the faith again and held possession over the stone.Also serves as the end and the present future cause even now the stone is still erect in the place while if u just take a glimpse at history nothing (be it any noun) has ever lasted this long and remained at the same place again n again for this long .
Makes a better sense than the trivial and fictitous Christian trinity...
This concludes GOD is eternally incharge of the all matters ,affairs of the world and has power over everything cause if GOD wasnt then aeons of time had passed despite what might had happened throughout the course and order of history, the black stone shoud've been long vanished like it was un existent but God secured it throughout the passage of time to make it as an evidence of his existence and gave its dominion over his rightful devotees and actual servants . These 3 prophets shall not be taken for granted cause these happen to be the most important ones interlinked with the black stone making ISLAM the only true religion of divine and we arent worshiping the stone but its the authentic, genuine, reasonable, logical , meaningful and legitimate proof of truth between us while we circumambulate the KABBA since its the center for rotation and above lies the throne of GOD.U might accuse me of idiotic dogmas but u just cant escape the fact that this stone isnt from here?!
