He constantly puts it out there through his music that he his bars, flow, rhyme schemes, lyricism is all up there with the best, but doesn’t stick himself in a box at all. Like bro Louphoria and the other soul songs on Luv 4 Rent… KILLED that shit too. He does whatever he wants and he’s great at it 😂

Went back and listened to his backlog from there and he’s been flowing & singing like this for damn near a decade. And by “like this” I mean the same amount different, every single time, for damn near a decade 😮💨 The man’s a never-ending fountain of new flows and vocal arrangements. It’s crazy

I don't think he gets enough credit for his lyricism because his flows are always so creative and out-of-pocket but still in pocket, but he's actually a very good writer as well. I feel like he can write just as good as a very skilled rapper, but the way he fuses r&b or whatever it is with those melodies, that's what really sets him apart. He's really a jazz musician with his voice.
