I absolutely love these lessons. Just an advice, the audio can use some improvement. Maybe invest in a directional mic. Also, I'm only hearing the audio in my right ear during the lesson. Wish you all the best

Is there a trick to doing jumps of 5 or more? At that point I have to slide my wrist and it’s very difficult to be consistent.

No trick, but work on progressively larger jumps. I have a few examples on accordionlove.com here's one:
