Ekaterina was born in 1982 in New York, she is a US citizen, studied at the Manhattan School, graduated from Columbia University, where she studied political science, and a master's degree in economics in London. Her husband got citizenship in Israel. Both of them currently leaving in Russia

Every country in the world except Russia considers this to be an illegal annexation. Same with the recent areas of Ukraine that you believe would agree to join Russia. However, voting was done in the presence of soldiers, so they are also considered by national law and all non Russian countries to be illegal. Voting administered by armed forces is considered voter fraud and discredits its legitimacy, as coercion. Russia has been the aggressor and still is.

But in Lugansk and Donetsk there were soldiers with weapons, and they destroyed at that time many civil ukrainians and much more Ukrainian soldiers. Unfortunately, I have to agree with him, Russia started this war because of the USA pressure towards Ukraine to go into Nato. If Ukraine goes into nato, Nato's borders will be across the Ural mountains, which means a huge strategic disadvantage for Russia. Despite the fact that Nato broke the rules and moved Nato borders towards Russia..... nobody wants to lose at Monopoly. Unfortunately, this game is in real life, and over 300k people died...... but this could've been stopped if the USA had stopped the pressure towards Ukraine to go into Nato.
1. Ukraine had no reason or need to go into NATO before russia’s involvement back in 2014.
2. If russia actually saw NATO as a threat why aren’t they invading Finland who actually joined NATO? Oh, wait, because they don’t see NATO as a threat at all, why else do you think russia tried to join NATO themselves, twice. Nor do they care much that Sweden is joining.
3. NATO didn’t break any rules, during the collapse of the USSR, USSR made an informal suggestion to the United States to stop NATO expansion. One, it was informal. Two, it was only to the US. They didn’t try to make an agreement with NATO which consists of numerous countries, not just USA.
4. Ukraine however did make an agreement with russia, exchanged 1 000 nukes for acknowledgement of sovereignty (including Crimea), in which russia agreed on and USA helped russia get their nukes back by pressuring Ukraine for the deal in exchange US gave Ukraine some security guarantees.
4. Ukraine wasn’t allowed to join NATO or the EU, numerous NATO countries wouldn’t allow it and this was before 2014 and even after 2014. Ukraine would never have been allowed in and thus the entire NATO threat in Ukraine is non existent. However, russia trying to take territory after territory has made the west change their minds.
No, that’s not true. Ukraine didn’t want to go to NATO before 2014, when Russia entered their war troops into Ukrainian territory: Crimea, Donetsk , Lugansk regions.

Russia didn't start the war. This war from the Russian perspective is like the Cuban missile crisis was from the US perspective. If the Americans were legitimately concerned about Cuba back then, the Russians are legitimately concerned about Ukraine right now.
