They really listen to understand and know how to communicate their thoughts ..like a smooth stream of consciousness. mandi funny and bring a different element altogether.. the contrast makes things dynamic. Can’t wai for them to grow more and thin out the tsr topics, which is a bit heavy handed. I get it though.

If abortion is not an option for me, but the man has vocalized he’s not ready to be a parent or doesn’t want to with me…ultimately there IS nothing I can do about it so I realize moving forward I most likely will be on my own. Even if he helps financially, I already know I will have to raise that kid alone for the most part & I personally wouldn’t waste my time begging him to be a dad. It is what it is. With that being said, on a deeper level having the child & raising it alone IS my “accountability” but so is having an abortion. Having an abortion is also “accountability” only for me because we know there can be consequences of that on a woman’s body, and let not even discuss the mental tolls that can take as well. At the end of the day, whether me and the man are on the same page about an abortion or not…I, as a woman, will ALWAYS have to go through that experience alone. While I understand a woman choosing to be a mom regardless of if the man wants no parts of it. I could never date or truly respect a man (outside of adoption) that is moving in the world knowing they have a child and isn’t a part of their life just because they don’t want to be. That will never be the same as a woman who made a choice with her body to terminate a life in progress, to me.

All of the guys on the pod are very opinionated and have contrasting view points, but even with different views the conversation is still constructive. To be honest, if a man takes that risk of having unprotected sex, I think there should be some accountability when a pregnancy occurs. If precautions are taken and something goes wrong, then I could take Bridget’s point.

If one does not wish to be a parent, esp if they are male, there a few avenues one can take to likely prevent this. irrespective of what was previously discussed, the person with the sperm must always have it at the back of their mind that their partner may change their mind and the law will then force them to contribute to the raising of their child. i hate that people pretend they're having sex against their will, we're all adults we know what can happen if we have sex. people just don't want to be held accountable for their actions, what does one expect (probably) when having unprotected sex?. have sex with people you wouldn't mind conceiving children with, use protection and get snipped or leave sex alone.
