Not all naman out there, there are few. Yes,Thea deserves more. Just by watching her vlogs,u know how deep person she is.
I lived alone for 4yrs during college and during the 3 yrs I was working full time (condo provided by parents) but I went back since I started working from home kase ang mahal ng bills for someone na hindi pa stable yung income. My target is to move back to the condo by 3rd quarter since na-establish ko na yung steady clients with income x3-4 then what I used to make. But I think living alone is necessary for growth so sana talaga ma-achieve ko na uli yun. As for expenses, for bills around 6k ang nagagastos ko dati (2k monthly dues + water, 1.5k electricity, 2k internet, 500 cable, 500 laundry) then around 5-7k for food (less kapag madaming padala ang mommy pag umuuwi haha). Real estate tax is around 8k/yr for a 29sq.m condo in Manila. So yes, I agree with the 40-50k minimum income to live comfortably especially kung nag-rrent or rent-to-own kase madaming unforeseen gastos na kaakibat pag mag-isa. Sa 25k na income ko before literal na wala akong naipon after the bills and grocery. The way to go is to EARN MORE and NOT SAVE MORE which I think is what most full-time employees' struggle with kaya sa mga nagttry mag-solo, side hustle tayo! I love money talks! I don't think it should be taboo at all so I appreciate youtubers who openly talk about "sensitive" but very important topics like this. So excited for your condo journey as well!
I think the better context will be "The way to go is not to EARN MORE but to INVEST MORE." Make your money work for you, not your working for money forever. But this is for long-term vision. For the short term, earning more will have an advantage.
Agree to this, Im a parent and I don't oblige my daughter to do the share. Lagi ko sinasabi sa kanya, you save your money. So you can travel the world, enjoy the gift of life, I promise her na di kami magiging burden ng dad nya. Though lagi nya sinasabi na she will help us. But I insisted. Reason why we work and save for our future and her's. All is planned ang plot already. Good job to your parents, and to you as well. They must be so proud of you for being an independent.
Committing to Minimalism has helped me A LOT with finances.
I really love that your channel is not solely about beauty but also about adulting, I really enjoy this kind of video and hope for more (cross fingers 🤞)
I think this can be the highlight of your youtube channel, to really you know make you different from other youtubers?? I'm really not familiar with other filipino youtubers but I think you're different from the usual. I hope yall get what I mean???
This content exceeded my expectation. Not sure if it's with the setup but with this, I feel like a friend is advising me about condo living/rent vs. rent to own. Which is so common now a days.
You are my favorite TH-camr. Realistic and sound/well thought out and balanced opinions.
This is very informative para sa mga nagbabalak maging independent. Totoo na being independent comes with great responsibility. But the good thing that comes with it is you also learn valuable lessons along the way like budgeting, prioritizing, life planning, pati na ung pagmature mo mentally, emotionally, and psychologically.
I'm living in a small apartment for 5 years since ito na din tinirhan ko simula ng mag college. At dahil sa gusto ko mag isa. After graduating from college, sinubukan ko magpaka feeling independent.. for 3 months.. Grbe pala no, don ko lg na realize, mag ggrow ka tlaga, 21 plg ako now.. Pero I can really say mas mature ako ksa elder brother ko.. Ganda kasi pag mag isa, ikaw lahat gumagawa ng chores at u can decide whatever u want.. At lalo pa't ako ung taong mabilis lg ma impluwensyahan.. Hopefully, sana pag uwi ko hndi magiging worst kasi I'm starting to adapt na the independent life.. Kasi dahil gipit ako, need ko tlaga bumalik saamin.. Hindi na din ako mejo na fofocus sa review ko for nursing exam kasi I focused more on earning money.. Hopefully, in the near future magagawa ko ulit to.. Choos! HAHHAHA
Gusto ko yung tinackl niya yung renting sa owning, we are torned kubg magrerent kami or bibili, but as of the moment financially wise I will take theas advice na magrent na lang muna.. You are wise beyond your years theabells ❤️❤️❤️
We have the same outlook when it comes to living in a condo and being solo. Hayyy, it's feels good na may nakakaintindi on why I prefer to rent a condo rather than buy one.
I am so proud of you ... I was 28 when I moved out and I wish I would've done it earlier, I am hoping that my daughter would be as strong as you are. More power to you.
I rarely subscribe to a channel or watch one vlogger very frequently, but I find you very smart in uploading sensible and relatable contents. I am fond of watching your money related videos and I just want to kudos you for a job well done. Please don't get tired of sharing your ideas through this channel for it sure inspire a lot of people to do better in life and be guided for free at the same time, like me. More power to your channel Thea. ❤️👌❤️
So thankful nakita ko vids mo, as in halos lahat same tayo ng thinking in life except dun sa savings na minsan pagnakita mo mejo malaki na is ok na gumastos,. sakin kasi hobby ko ang pagsi save the more na lumalaki the more mas ganado ako mag save 😊
Keep up po💗
You deserve more subscribers, your channel is both informative and entertaining... hindi puro kaartehan and pacute.. thumbs up on the great work and for really detailed explanations in your videos ♡♡♡
Grabe very nice video. Ganito talaga prefer ko, informative, mabilis, walang laugh track. And as a person renting also near cbd, I 💯% agree to your answers
Super relatable Ms. Thea. I love this kind of videos. Ang detailed po ng pagkakagawa. Yung feeling ko habang nanunuod is parang friend lang na nagaadvice at kinakausap ka about adulting and independence. ♥️
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ super informative, ang dami kong nalearn. I've been considering renting a condo with my friends after we graduate and when we start our graduate studies, and sobrang dami kong ititake with me from this video. Thank you, Ate!
Thankful talaga sa mga contents na 'to. Very helpful and an eye-opener lalo na sa mga early 20s kasi di naman naturo sa school 'to. As always, thank you, Ms. Thea. 🙂 solid content for #Adulting
I've been thinking of living independently again for a year now. I so love the feeling of being on my own. So coming back to this video made me realize na hindi pa ako ready financially kasi I'm also aiming to live in a condo. Pero yun nga I must settle my card debt muna tlga. Thank you Miss Thea, you've been my finance savior since 2019. God bless and stay safe. :) Ps. Sana makabangga kita sa may Ortigas. HAHAHAHA
I live alone sa province for 5 years habang nasa metro ang family ko. Now, I am here sa metro but I still look forward to live alone again. So here I am looking for guides.
hi tita dagdag ko lang po na theres also needed 2-3 months worth of security deposit or advance payment before moving in to your rented space which is pretty heavy though u can still reimburse it in full if you’ll leave the property without any damages or needed repairs :)
This is the 3rd video mo na napanuod ko ngayong arsw at sobrang natutuwa ako kasi very informative. Thanks a lot for sharing your ideas and everything 😊
I rarely comment on videos and I've only just started watching your channel, but I gotta say all your videos are on point, especially the ones like this that are very informative to people like me that have just started their 'adulting' journey. I used to live away from my family as well. But I had to go back home because of family obligations (got a tiny tiny bit jealous when you mentioned that your parents do not oblige you to financially support them ngl) If I were to choose, I'd like to go solo living again. I just miss having total control of my own place, getting to decide on house rules, and having complete privacy. Now I can somehow relive my past solo living life by watching your videos. Keep up the good work! Hoping for your channel's success. -From your new subscriber
Sobrang naspoil ako ng parents nung naging gy shift ako. Dahil nagwoworry sila sa health ko at ako na lang yung anak na nakatira sa bahay nagbuhay princesca talaga ako for 4yrs. Tapos bigla akong nagwork aboard. Walang adjustment. Independent as a person naman ako kahit noon pa pero ang hirap na malayo sa parents. Mas madali ang buhay na kasama sila 😂.
Galing! Dahil sa video mo i have decide condo living is the way to go! I actually acquired one 3 years ago and turnover niya is 2020. I was advised it's better to have it rented out than sell it although nung una talaga, hirap ako mag-decide. I plan to live in it for 2-3 years for the experience (1st time ko mag-condo kasi, hehe) and that way i can furnish it as well. And then have it rented out later on so that will be my 2nd income. Sa Pasig siya. Keep making quality and sensible videos! 👏☺️👍💖
Gusto ko yung madami akong natututunan sayo ate thea. Bigla kong namiss ang Ortigas, kaya lang yung traffic nung tumira ako somewhere in Rizal nakaka iyak. More subscribers to come ate. 💕
dear, very useful itong video na ginawa mo, need ito ni daughter, pero student pa lang siya, thank you dear , please make more, maganda ito...God bless
I'm living with my parents..even though i wnt to live independently..it will cost me mch coz im jst a min wage earner. I admire those ppol like u that really compute EVERY "PENNY" of their cost of living..i do that as well but not to the point like my daily fare, food allowance, leisure expenses hehe.. kc feeling ko if i do that need mghigpit tlga ng sinturon haha especially me wage earner only i always break that rule for example i already budget my fare for one week but suddenly we went to mall i end buying something or we eat out..boom! Bawas ang budet stuff like that🤣
I always learn a lot from your videos especially mga Q&A. You’re so smart!! I really admire you for that 💕
Thank you for answering my question. I hope for more adulting 101 videos especially on how to handle finances. Please also share your favorite TedTalk video or podcast, audiobooks that pump your motivation and lastly condo tour.
Condo tour please and grocery haul. Sana may vlog din what is ur day mga gnun..
Finally my nakagawa n ng video for independents😁 I am independently living since 12years old ako because I don't have my parents and I don't have relatives
Super dream ko talaga magka-condo huhu. I hate noises kasi, feeling ko ang peaceful pag independent living. Also, i can survive days naman without interaction. And excited na ako sana grumaduate to earn kasi akala ko madali lang ang process, hindi pala hahaha. I guess mag-ipon muna xD
It's true, moving out capacity should be based on one's income, not savings. Kasi fixed sya na bayarin eh, your savings will eventually run out kung hindi kaya i-shoulder ni income ang living independently expenses. Huhu.
I'm 17 but i always want to be independent kaya ngayon palang nag nanonood na ako nito para sa future kaso sa financial issues palang mukhang malabo pa HSHAHSHA
oo nga. dapat ang mga parents hindi gawin parang insurance or financial back-up ang mga dya-nanaks nila. Nurture them to be good and productive people. Yun lang....
Sarap mo pakinggan hehe! More yt vids to come! 🤗❣️New subscriber here 🙋🏻♀️
Ideally, mga 1M to 2M, preselling(60months) or foreclosed(10%dp) ang hanapin.
I love your videos, i mean your content! This video is very helpful for me because I'll soon be an employee, and I might rent a condo or dorm too if my work is far from my home. Thank you for your tips!
Hahahahaha! Better.late than never. 💕
Hello guys!! Sagutin natin ang mga tanong nyo about moving out & breakdown ng expenses ko related to condo ♥️♥️♥️
Found a smart, wise and relatable youtuber.
hi Thea, thank you for this content, very informative and very helpful! looking forward to more content like this! - new subscriber :)
ikr, very straight forward!
Thank you!!!
Hi thank you for the info. Your knowledge about practical life is awesome.
You deserve more 💕💕
Not all naman out there, there are few. Yes,Thea deserves more. Just by watching her vlogs,u know how deep person she is.
Oo nga, galing db,,,
I agree. E dito nga sila mas may matututunan.
Hintay hintay lang lalaki din yan
Totoo!

I agree, 40-50k monthly, halos wala talagang ipon...

Good job to your parents, and to you as well. They must be so proud of you for being an independent.
😍😍😍😍😍 sana all ganito
Sana all parents ganyan. I only found the courage to move out at 36 years old(!) kasi breadwinner e... naku, 'yoko na lang magsalita. 😅
Committing to Minimalism has helped me A LOT with finances.
ChiWanders i can relate, i love minimalism and spending freeze.
Any changes you did to align finances and minimalism? I'm so clueless.

Ideally, mga 1M to 2M, preselling(60months) or foreclosed(10%dp) ang hanapin.
This is the content that i'm looking for.
Super appreciate this ❤ Thanks for the informative video!
