I liked how the most menacing opponent in the auditions was the kind and caring girl whose voice sounded like it was about to break half of the time. This piece is fittingly melancholic for Nana's story and personally for me I really liked the sudden change in mood and pacing with her episodes and how her stage of fate drives in how serious the auditions are; were at that point in the anime everything had been kept vague regarding the star tiara and the top star. But from her episode on the audience knows how much is actually on the line for the girls and we get to watch the strongest competitors with that in mind.
Honestly, words don't come out when I want to express how much I love nana but, Seeing her, the kindest girl, the most caring girl, being this protective and selfish to protect her beloved starlight, makes me happy and sad, but mostly sad. She just want to not be alone anymore and just stop time to be with her friends a little more... Looping is the only way for her to protect this. When watching the anime, I always thought Karen and hikari where the protagonists but maybe there's a third protagonist, nana. Even with how much I love her, I can't deny maybe she went a little too far. I'm the first one to be like her, protect my memories, wanting to stay with my friends a little more, plus with parting way at the end of school, it just scares me even more. Am I going to see my friends even after graduation ? What if we don't talk anymore ? What if my dearest friends forget about me ? What if... It just scares me so much I can't live normally, so nana and me are alike but unfortunately I can't loop the time no matter how much I wish for it. So I learned how to live without always thinking, "I don't want this to end". I still think this from time to time but I try to just leave memories where they are. Memories are better placed in their real place in the timeline of your life. Memories are too precious, so trying to remember, to live it again, may just ruin it at the end. I still hope these memories last forever. Now I can cope with that thanks to nana. Thank you, nana.
