@Astral Web Inc, If you have the same product but in multiple different colours , how do you show all the different colour products as separate items on the product category page?
Thanks for the tutorials. I can see that you haven't got a System message. I have one it tells me :"One or more indexers are invalid. Make sure your Magento cron job is running." Is it really a problem or what can i do. I tried some stuff but I didn't find a solution. I hope you can help me out!

You can always tell when someone is just going through the motions and trying to get through the lesson as quickly as possible so they can get onto other things in their day. That's what it feels like here; his explanations and demonstrations are all far too rushed. Remember, users are watching this because they're not familiar with Magento. You are. So slow down, otherwise users can't follow along. It's not just talking too fast, it's also clicking around the screen too fast, making it hard to follow.

+memobijou yes. you need to make sure that cron is running as magento needs it in order to run important tasks

How can I only show subcategories on the category page? There are some tutorials on the web but only for Magento 1x
you will need to create a static block of subcategoris and then in the your category, change the display mode to static block only and select it.
How does your domain look like this? Do you work locally?
normal subdomain - server on cloud - used dns to create subdomain
