I just did a cats eye using Desire Nails' Perfect Rose Fiber Gel and Desire Nails' Rainbow Cat Eye. I used one coat and I love the results. It makes a perfect pink shade with no grey

Stick one down or onto something or use kitchen tongs or tweezers.

I love the effect with 2 magnets the most too! I probably would tape down the one magnet or if it's big enough, just place a bottle of nail polish on it to hold it down, it was fun seeing it move though. When you showed the cat eye I was wondering why you wiped it off? the magnets would still move it around until you cure?
I really liked the grey, do you think if you put a pink polish underneath that it would have a more pink tone like you wanted? or any colour for that matter, so many possibilities if it shows through, kind of like how it effects chromes.
Yes It would show from underneath I actually went for the quickest option. I did wiped it of as I would need to move the metal to gem look (to time consuming) quicker to start from scratch 😅

Oh I take ages too. 🤣😂 I would say about 3h for both hands with design. If it us one colour then about 1.5-2 h

I love your work, just a question, is there a reason why you can’t use bluetak for the magnet to secure it to the table?
Yes you can use blue tak to hold down the magnet but I have also figured out how to do it with one magnet

Do we have to buy their nail paints also to buy Cat eye magnet? Or we can use the nail paint of some other company and make any design with magnets on it?
And have you seen the video about reverse foiling. I’ve only found the one video by Denisejohn65 but it’s such a good idea, so simple i don’t know how i didn’t think of that, most of the best ideas are like that though 😂. Your amazing! 😁😁😁

Dorota, what minimun length on a paper form would you recommend for sculpting coffin shape so it would look aesthetically pleasing for the eye? I know that it has to be long, like yours but i won't be able to wear them for a week max 😂
Definitely the longer the better for coffin shape. I kind of wear short yo show this shape 🙈 letter M is best any shorter make it more of tapered square and the only way to get coffin shape is to over file sidewalls. But I do it fir most of my clients as that what they want short coffin shape

How long did it take to have it work? I’ve been at this for 24 hours.... seriously. But it’s coming along. I also cannot get UR Sugar luminous 3D Cat Eye polish in the US where I live and I quickly became obsessed with them so I just made them!! They look incredible! But I still love the lighter colors best :)
As with everything it is a matter of the practice. I try cat eyes few tears ago but was crap at then. Then last year and only this year I start really enjoying it. Play different ways to see what effect you can achieve

It's called spar cat eye,it's one of the newer ones. Lots of brands sell it now not just born pretty,bought mine from ali express for cheap too.

Not really as you need that kind of "empty" space so I had to move it on both coats

Couldn't you file your natural nails from underneath with a bit so you don't have to do a completely new set?
You could and I do it sometimes but the shape wouldn't be a same. It is great for shorter nails it dosnt work on very long ones
