I’m not exactly sure what type of stone this is but it sure is gorgeous! My guess is it’s orbicular jasper but regardless the final result is spectacular, enjoy!
What a great piece of jasper/jaspagate! That reminds me, I found some killer three and four color strangely figured jaspers a few weeks ago in S. Padre Island (the place I was staying had some rocks in the yard). I'm guessing they might have originated from the Rio Grande but who knows.
@@spwinaustin I cut one yesterday and I have to say it is the best jaspagate I've found in the wild yet. If you ever get down that direction, keep your eyes peeled...particularly in the planter boxes bc there is no natural stone on the island.
