This is one of the rare ones that'd be better in an older gen that didn't show which attacks are super effective. It would've been more fun to see you two have to puzzle it out!
Some fun math: if the randomizer had every single and dual type combination, that’s 342 types combos in total. 324 of them (or 94.74%) are dual typed, while 18 (or 5.26%) of them are single typed. Additionally, the probability of getting twelve dual typed pokemon in a row (those used in the fight) was 52.27%, and the probability of getting 18 dual typed pokemon in a row (max for being encountered) was 37.79%, both of which are more likely than encountering one single typed pokemon

A suggestion: 30 minutes to catch any number of pokemons BUT you can catch only pokemons with 4x weakness (like abomasnow is to fire, rhyperior is to water, tyranitar is to fighter etc). You choose the best ones and then...you fight! Hehehe

Chillin should of used Hyper Beam on Rayquaza at the end. It was known GG wasn’t going to U-Turn due to attack drop, and Breaking Swipe wouldn’t kill. Might as well try the Hyper Beam dice roll
I think he was hoping all he had was physical attacks and would have survived and gone for the beam after, but yeah I would have gone for Hyper beam there.

Groudon has really low special attack compared to its physical attack.
Together with Stab on Breaking Swype I believe Hyper beam is pretty much exactly as strong as Breaking.
Swype.
(Breaking Swype a base 90 from a 150 attack stat or Hyper Beam a base 150 from a 100 sp-attack stat. Rayquaza has identical defensive stats on both ends.)
Breaking Swype also reduces the damage of a known move and does not make you lose a turn.
Y'all should do a random number generator that picks numbers of the Pokedex and that's the Pokemon you have to battle with. And make it extra spicy with only one skip
Not sure if Chillin will see this or not but I think it could be really fun if the choices came down to a coin flip.
One of them reads the 3 options, and the other can eliminate one of them. Flip a coin to see which of the remaining two they get. Good luck 😎
Do a max 2500 total base stat battle. You can select any pokemon as long as your team of 6 doesn't exceed 2500
I feel like the Yveltal was not as bad as he made it seem. It had Super Fang, which could have helped in a pinch when he had no super effective moves, especially since these Legends have so much HP and defense.
Not to forget the fact that this was "Legendarys" only... and a lot of legendarys are larger heavier pokemon.... Low Kick damage is calculated with opponents weight in mind... + moxie could have become evil really fast.
It made sense to skip though tbf. I think the 6 he took were better
Hey Chillin if no one else has said this the difference between legendary and mythical is that mythicals can only be gotten by events with an item from a mystery gift or just from a mystery gift itself.
I guess legends of Arceus broke that rule since you just need to complete all the missions to acquire Arceus.

Even before seeing this, I think the concept with changing the type of Pokemon AND your partner not knowing what the type.. Very difficult! I wish the game would not show the effective modes on each move though..

Video idea: you catch a team of 6 pokemon with random encounters, 2 skips, but the types are randomized and if it is a dual type it is a single type and vise versa
Here's a video idea that could be fun to see:
A then we fight video with random encounters where instead of skipping the bad encounters -> you get 3 times to pick a move set
Catch a random pokemon with random moves, the next pokemon you catch has to have the 1rst letter of one of your 4 moves😁

Legendary is just the kind of Pokemon they are. Myths/UBs are special types of Legendary Pokes
Challenge idea- you catch 6 random pokemon but after the first one you either have to decide to forfeit the type or gen of the pokemon for the remaining catches everything fully evolved at the end
Video Idea: Gym Leader Gauntlet. Spin a wheel with every poke type on it then spin a second wheel to decide the generation.
Example:
Spin 1 - Water Type
Spin 2- Gen 1
Results in 1 Pokémon from Misty’s Team.
Only Rule is that the Mon has to be used by that Gym Leader and 4 skips available.
Idea 💡 y’all should catch a box of Pokémon each and mix them all up the best y’all can and have each other ban Pokémon based on random numbers but the box that you caught is for the other person and you ban Pokémon until there’s a team left in both boxes then y’all give each other the teams in your boxes

That was nuts!! Love the idea, should perhaps split where one of you get Gen 1-4 and the other gets Gen 5-8 legends (assuming playing in SwSh, if in S/V gen 9 legends are fair game for both)
Note: Doesn’t have to be those gens specifically, but where 1 of you get legends from 4 different generations than the other, with gen 9 only being involved if you play on ScaVio (though in that case you could make any gen the FFA if one of you wanted gen 9 to yourself)

Since scarlet and violet have been out for a while now I would love to see another battleship challenge in scarlet and violet that and I would also love to see another generational battle where they capture one of each generation and then choose their team from that as well as hitting all the regions against Paldea since it's the only generation that hasn't been in the Battle of generations yet

Same way the Pokémon gender symbols are red for female and blue for male. La is feminine in Spanish, while El is masculine

Did anyone notice the moves themselves gave away the typing of the opponent?
Registeel had Night Daze (dark move) and said super effective because his Verizion was ghost type.
Does the “super effective” and “not very effective” tags pick up on when it’s randomized typed or does it base it off original typing?
yea the game know the randomized types so the tags are accurate
Video idea: take turns picking a randomized starter left, middle, right but here’s the twist if you pick left it gives both players their left Pokémon choice however the other player gets to choose which of the 2 Pokémon they want for their team and you only get to see your 3 choices and not the other players. Use randomized movesets/ and abilities as normal.

How do you guys randomize the wild Pokémon??
An idea for a new challenge. You have 3 starters. Then you will say which starter you want to have and which you will give to the other person. Then throw a coin and if it’s heads the selection will be as you said, but if it’s tails the selection will be reversed. No skips
