I love these poetry videos so much🥰 I hope you keep doing them with other poets, i would love an hour-long video like this. I want to understand the emotions that russian people feel from reading poems like these, and how its ingrained in russian cultrue :)
Here the accusative case (Винительный падеж) is used. It answers the questions: whom? what? (кого? что?) instead of the dative case (Дательный падеж) Answers the questions: to whom? to what? (Кому? Чему?) So "Целуй меня" will be translated as "kiss me". And "Целуй мне" will be translated in most cases as "kiss my" or "kiss for me"but the translation may change depending on the context. I am a native speaker and rereading my post I realize how complicated and confusing this may seem to a language learner. It blows my mind that someone can learn this.
@@v99990 No no worries lol, Im a spanish native so it doesnt seem as complicated as we share some unnecessary rules as well :). I can see the sense of it, Целуй мне kinda sounds in my head as "Kiss to me" the more i use the accusative case which sounds weird lol
Wait, you're not a bot? I just assumed it was bots reposting this same uncreative comment after the first week of people spamming it. This kinda garbage makes me think we deserve to be taken over by AI.

I have a question thats taunting me for a while.. why is it Целуй меня and not Целуй мне (the latter makes more sense to me)
