for me, it's the Quintessons the villains of the game, when I saw it for the first time, the "Quintesson Invasion on Cybertron" in the Cyberverse came to mind. I even wanted a game about that arc and it looks like they're going to release it, but Cybertron is replaced by Earth. which I thought was even cooler. 😎 
My guess would be armada versions of these characters would be skins either paid or earned or both consideration it's gunna be a live service that could be something they do to fund the game

If people could support the game and be a patient, problems won't arise with the game early and cause it to die as well. Barely any news and or no news doesnt mean it's dead or will die. I feel that the negative people can kill it and probably kill it faster.
If we get the beast wars characters would that imply that we may get other characters from the different universes but would that also mean we may get titians, combiners, city speakers, pretenders, junkions or that’s just wishful thinking. And if I were to incorporate them into the game would have them be at a outpost station some where either in space or somewhere on earth where the player goes to meet them and bring them (side tangent I feel like talking about bringing them as if they were skylanders lol 😂)
Bruh, I'm 99.999% sure that GTAV was designed with heavy monetization in mind. Sure you don't need to buy anything but the game itself for the single player campaign but let's be honest, the majority of GTA fans don't stop at campaign.
I would like to to trailers of all the different characters that are going to be in the game, along with all the different gaming modes such as the story, multiplayer, and all the other content. Like anything would be fine as long as my thirst for this game can be quenched. Whenever I don't get any news on any game that I'm hyped for I forget and lose interest. So hopefully we can get some news and more trailers from developers in the near future.

It’s been more than 7 months now since Splash Damage dropped the trailer tease.. they should have something new by now honestly, even if it is just another teaser.
I honestly don't have high expectations for a game like this - the projects I heard this studio had formerly worked on aren't that impressive to me (the only thing I really recognised them working on was Doom 3's Multiplayer, and although I enjoyed Doom 3, the Multiplayer is dead right now so you can't really get into it even though it looks fun). Considering it's free-to-play it will most likely have a crap ton of microtransactions and maybe even purchasable characters, and the design for the Legion "characters" look really generic. I can only hope that, at best, this game will be fun to play, as generally any co-op game (even if it's awful) will be fun with friends. Thats why game's like Phasma phobia (I'm not that familiar with the game, I'm not calling it bad).

i still don't get how robotic life forms can transform into animals. cars, i get since vehicles are made of metal. animals, however, are flesh and blood. Anyhoo, if we get stuck with canon characters... i hope we get to have Bayverse versions of characters as well as the others. Of course, they better have the multiverse be a story point to explain why several variants of Optimus or bumblebee are running around guns-a-blazing. I'm still hoping for true character customization and creation, however. Still want to create a bot based on Evil Dead's Ash Williams complete with a chainsaw hand and a boomstick. I would also love to create a james bond based bot, which would require various gadgets to use.
Avengers had no future, it launched broken needed more time to fix which pushed back all future content. Games like Avengers are what made live service a taboo.
