same experience with walgreens photos. my photo totally flopped with the lighting and being rushed by the person. didn’t let me re-take it either and i was being a nice girl and didn’t argue it. this is my second bad experience with walgreens photos. shoulda learned the first time. however years ago i did passport photos at costco and the whole experience; photography and professionalism was on point. too bad they don’t do photos anymore.

This is so helpful ! I made passport for my kids a month a go, pay 15 each $45 total for a total orange junk. Well luckily it’s just for 5 years and they to young to care. I need my passport soon and definitely will try this way. Thank you!

THANK YOU. I wasted $32 trusting CVS and the place I did my TSA Precheck application at by letting them take my passport photo. One was grainy and the other was bad lighting. I really hope this method works out because it was easy, CHEAP, and in my control. And lol at the one comment saying it looked like a mug shot bc YES MINE DID TOO LMAO

I went to the USPS in my area paid the $15 for the pictures. total was 225 for expedited service. i got an email saying, "they can't use my pictures" now USPS will not send my pictures they took. express shipping free of charge. USPS wants to charge me $8. No thank you. I have the pictures they took. but I don't trust it might take my own.
