As a cop, the cop was unprofessional being sarcastic and trying to outwit Jon Jones. We should expect people to be upset with us when we allege violations against them. So their reaction shouldn’t bother us unless it’s threatening behavior. Also, I believe he made it personal when he cited him for five violations (that is not to say he can’t do that but rather shouldn’t). When I cite people, I like to cite people for the one or two most serious violations and give warnings on the other violations makes for a better contact. The cop warning Jones that he is lucky he is not going to jail is solely an attempt to show his power or authority. Way to push the profession forward man

I got a ticket in my Z06 on the interstate. I was doing 79 in a 65. About 1130 PM, not passing loads of cars. Told the patrolman I hadn't had a ticket this millennium, last ticket was in 1999. Which he seen when ran my license. Still gave me a ticket, could have given me a warning. Even the lady at my bank said he was just mad he didn't have my car when I got a 263$ money order to pay the improper equipment my lawyer got it reduced to. It's just revenues for the state. Legalized robbery

So if someone else use it for him and then he started driving that would be a violation on his interlock device agreement. Second, the interlock makes you blow every 15 minutes roughly, so if he was by himself at that point, he definitely needed to blow again before parking or turning off the car. It is extremely unlikely that he was drunk. Additionally, cops are not stupid.. when you are drunk, you usually smell like alcohol, there is no way around that.
