This is a go-to for me when I am feeling down. You are a master, Bob. I consider myself to be blessed enough to have met you at the Interlocken seminar!
BoB! So good to see you on the shores of "your place." Your playing is the sound of dedicating one's life to an instrument and then having transcended the instrument as an interface, revealing music, pure and simple (simplexity).
Amazing, as usual, Bob! I'm sure you don't remember me but I was one of your old guitar students at Guitar Showcase eons ago. Back then this "Stick" thing was still new and I remember you bringing in a couple of different models and playing them before our lesson began. Dark Side of the Moon is one of my favorite PF albums and they are one of my favorite groups. To hear your cover of these two songs gives me chills. Jeff
You are a LEGEND to me! Strait Of Gibraltar was what first turned me on to you and is still mind blowing!!! I blast it on my home stereo with my subs and it sounds amazing! I am so happy to still see and hear you playing, you are a true inspiration for me. With work, life, wife, kids, it is so hard to stay motivated, let alone finding the time to play and practice; I play guitar. I would love to hear how you overcome some of those obstacles and your thought process behind it. Obviously grind it out, stay on the path, etc. but I would love to hear more in depth.
'Raving and Drooling' or whatever it ended up being called would go over well on Stick.... maybe it should have been recorded with the Stick - would sound better. Gilmour's great but the instrumentation was so-so on the final album. The Stick would have really rounded it out.

I'm legitimately jealous of your back yard Bob, looks cozy

Who needs a Putney when you've got a didgeridoo and a stick?
If this were simple everyone would be playing a Chapman Stick.
