Secondly, the Mayor did not say, Fatima did xyz. She said, if the ACC deems what the Auditor reports about gaps in the council's procedures as corruption, then why doesn't the ACC deem the exact reporting about the First Lady to be corruption?

She is playing the whataboutism card. She is head of an institution. Why wouldn’t she want to know if someone in her organization has refunded funds that was claimed to have used, at the least, inappropriately. Payment in this case is admission of guilt and instead of dealing with that issue head-on, she is instead doing what politicians often do, muddying the waters and distracting by bringing in someone’s name that she clearly knows is a lightning rod for controversy. Now the conversation has changed. Everybody has now moved to take their partisan sides and we will never know what really happened
